I'm having problems with the z electrics. A friend of mine checked the wire a couple of months ago, we even were trying to start the car, at the time. Now I tried to hook up the battery. Negitive to the back part of starter and possitive side to the front of the starter. And the possitive post started to smoke. At the time I assumed I must of hooked it up wrong.( everything in the car was off,and the ignition switch was to the off possition.) I even burned out the green fusible link what do I do?

Best bet... Take it to an auto electric shop and have them check it out. You may have fried the wire harness, too. They can check it out and give you a reliable answer.
