Hello, Not yet a Z owner. Looking at a 240 that sat in a garage for 10 years but need a local mechanic to help with a few things. I am in the northern part of Los Angeles, Pasadena, or Glendale. Thanks. I am not sure if this is the right place to post this?

I'm on the other side of Division street, hanging off the hill with a view of the 2 frwy, forrest lawn and Griffith Park. I talk to that younger fellow at that shop and I guess he might be ok. The fellow in pas, I'm absolutly sure of, a true Datsun Specialist who's worked on several of the Roadsters in our group, with proper respect.

Wow, you are hanging off the hill. It even looks like a few houses on your street slid off the hill ...

BTW, I'll be in LA the week after next for a cruise out of San Pedro ...

Victor,

Are you some where near Jessica St. near that little park off division? I work on some projects up there where you can see the 2 and Eagle Rock Blvd.

The Pasadena shop it is . No use going anywhere else if they're specialist. Love to go to breakfast and a drive. Only problem is that I don't have a Z. I am hoping soon. We just had a baby 6 weeks ago. Time is a little tight. There's no reason why we can't sit down and have some food and a beer sometimes and meet some of the local members.

The reason why I want the 240 is that when my little boy's old enough, we can work on the Z together and if he's a good he can keep the car. If the Z's that much fun, I might keep it for myself.

Next time you guys go for a drive, can I tag along with my old beat up and way under powered Miata? I'll try to PM you my phone #.

Yes I am. You gotta be a f'n genius to buy a cantilever home in a earthquake, fire and landslide area! I have NO front yard, step out my door and you in the street. The near vertical back yard is a hoot to.

There's nothing like like having no neighbors in LA. The narrow street keeps the bad guys out.

LOL , I reponded the same way when i first read that post, (I lived in san pedro for many years) but reading it again he said he is going on a cruise SHIP out of san pedro HARBOR...sigh I would drive all the way from riverside to do that :) (cruise san pedro i mean) I used to live right across from San Pedro Pirates High School football field...off of 12th st. my old 71 Z even got side swiped by a trash truck there...ohhh the memories...
