The came came with only one bumber and its not as small as the 240's and not as big as the 280's. The little metal panel with the vin number reads: R-LS30-037820 6/74. So is June considerd late or early? when you think about it cars come out a few monthers b4 the end of the year...but what is the same way back in 74? I think it may be late becuase the tranny tunnel is wide (i think i dont have a 240 to compare to), cause the seat sits right up aginst the tunnel. Any helpfull info would be GREAT!

I think it's early. If the front turn signals are under the bumper, it's early. If they are in the grill, it's late.

it didnt come with turn signals or that whole lower valience pice where the turn signals might go, i have 2 lil storage areas right behind the vertical wall if that matters

Bumpers of the late 260 are identical to those of the 1975 and 1976 280. So if the above info. is correct, you have an early.

Yeah, I think its early too. I don't think the late ones had the recess in the rear quarter panel for the bumpers.
