Steering wheel Restoration

Hi guys,

I have an original steering wheel from my 1970 (the one with the holes not punched out) and want to restore the wheel. The only problem with it is that is really dirty on the "wood" rim. Does anyone know of a good way to clean it or what to use to bring it to "new" condition.

Mark,

There have been as many threads on this subject as I have had hot breakfasts!

Use search and not only will you find the answer, you will also find the history of the wheel and the fact that it is actual wood.
