Ok, i put an electric distr in my 73 240z, so my old tach doesnt work anymore. I bought an 85 280z tach and it turned out to be junk... so I have decided to just buy a brand new aftermarket tach. I just want to know if any of you guys have bought one (any aftermarket tach) and how it works for you.

exactly what dist did you install ? I have been using a '79ZX ignition in my '73 with the stock tack since about '02 with no problems. Gary

i've determined that the tach i bought is a p.o.s.

Not to mention that in 1985 there was no 280Z!
