260 fuel pump connectors

ok i need some help guys. can anyone tell me what color the lines are that are going to the top and bottom connector on their fuel sending unit if they have a 260 or any early zcar maybe with an electric fuel pump? i appreciate anyones help, brian ::broken74::

I'm not sure it matters. The sending unit is basically a rheostat (variable resistor)
