Posted November 5, 200420 yr comment_100776 I have been noticing some play in the handle, and today it popped, then quit working. The inside one still works, I just have to lean through the passenger side to open my door. What parts do I need to replace? I am hoping to be able to fix it in one day, so knowing what is likely broken and needs replacing will be invaluable. My days off are kind of spaced out, and I do not want to have to lean through my passenger side for a week and a half. November 5, 200420 yr comment_100777 might be something very simple, mine did the same thing and the rod had just come loose but you have to be sure first Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/13896-door-handle-broke-parts-help/#findComment-100777 Share on other sites
November 5, 200420 yr Author comment_100779 Crap. I was hoping I could just order a part and only have to take it apart once. Then again, if the rod just came loose, I guess I would only be taking it apart once. Guess I will try and tear into it tomorrow evening when I get home. I just hate working in the dark, dealing with a hot light, etc. Thats why I usually reserve working on the car for off days.
