hey, has anyone painted their car blue and used dual or single white stripe(s) up the center? i looked in the gallery, and couldnt find any., I'd like to see spacial relationships between the stripes, placement on the cowl, etc...

I have seen this before on a Z. Look in the gallery under some of the shows, like shasta or MSA. The one (s) I have seen before were the plain stripes that go front to back, but may I recommend the '60's and '70's Muscle Car style (Chevelle SS) where the stripes don't run all the way from bottom of front to bottom of back, but instead from the end of the hood to the end of the trunk and have the small "pin" stripe around each stripe.

here i found this im saving the pic for my paint job it might help.

A lot of times those old chevy's had vinyl Landau tops, so the stripes were only on the hood and trunk, although on cars without the vinyl top I have seen them on the roof. Notice how the stripes on 240zguy's pic go all the way down to the spoiler. On the older style they stopped at the end of the hood and trunk. I'll see what else I can dig up.

Have you seen the 280Zap stripes? Very cool vintage look.

I always thought that the ZZap would have looked better without the side stripe.

all very cool paint jobs... keep em coming...i like teh flames ,but i belive stripes will be the way to go. Now if i have my facts str8. The cars is painting one color, and the stripes are vinal stickers, yes?
