I have a 79 N-47 head with the internally oiled cam,that I want to put on my 77,280Z,that originaly had the N-47 head with the cam spray bar.Will I have to do any work to the block or will it be a bolt right on thing.

Just bolt it on there (wit a new head gasket of course!) they are the same from a casting point of view. I've seen at least 3 77-78' L28s, and none of them had cam oilers, they were all internal.
