Well here is the deal. I was removing the carbs with my father. I was labeling the hoses as I took them off A B C D etc. Well I went into the house to take care of some things and came out to find out that he removed the rest of the hoses without me. But he didn't label anything, just removed them. Thanks Dad.

The issues I have now are two things.

1. Does any of the 260Z owners with the stock carbs have pictures of how the lines run for me? Any pictures that have some decent detail to let me know where everything heads would be so great at this point just to help me track them down a bit.

2. I am noticing that as I am looking at the carbs that some places like the ports leaving the carbs are different sizes. For example onthe front carb the coolant line that run to carb 2 is bigger on carb two than on one. So the hose doesnt fit right that I measured out at the store. Is there special tubing I am supposed to use from Datsun? Or do people just use the bigger hose and then clamp down the smaller side harder?

I hope these question make sence and any help would be huge at this point.

Thanks

SuDZ

Page 10-C-3 of the Zcar microfiche has the detail of the hoses you need. If you're going to be doing a lot of your own work, I highly recommend the CD. The exploded drawings are worth the price alone.

I was looking at getting the CD at some point, but was also kind of hoping to be able to get this runing tonight.

I think I am actually getting closer to having it setup right. There was just one or two I was still trying to figure out like from the PCV. I will get them straigtened out eventually I hope.

Hey sudz,

I have the dreaded flat-top carbs, but like yours, mine aren't hooked up to most things... but they do run. Let me know if you're still having problems, and I'll try to borrow a digicam an get some pics for you...

cheers
