Rusted Floor. Is floor pan replacement teh way to go?

I just bought a 72 with holes rusted through the floor. I plan on having the floor pans and frame rails replaced. I would appreciate input from anyone who has experience having this done. If anyone had it done in southern California, I would welcome a recommendation for a body shop or welder.

It really depends on how bad the rust is. If you can load some pictures we could help you make a decision. Welding in a patch would be the best way to go if the rust is in small areas. But if the entire floor is shot then replacing the entire floor board may be your only option. They are available at Motor Sports Auto (MSA) . Maybe a Zed owner in California could refer you to a body shop that has done it. If not, find a body shop that has experience with body pannel replacement.

Good luck.
