I bought a pair of these before realizing my new control arms come with a massive bolt instead of needing spindle pins. It is this kit: http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/23-4240ki BUT, it is missing 2 pieces of hardware: (1) 14-1410 8mm Lock Washer (for Lock Bolt) (1) 23-4242 Spindle Pin Nut Shouldn't be too hard to find these at a local hardware store. Also to clarify, I am only selling one spindle pin! $40 shipped in continental US!
I am looking for a replacement shifter knob face (pendant?) or whatever it is called. Mine fell off and none of the numbers can be read on it anyway. I can't seem to find a replacement knob or face anywhere on the web. Anyone have one? It should look like this: Example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-Nissan-Datsun-280Z-Red-5-Speed-Shift-Knob-Quadrant-Pendant-Insert-only-/302491993969?rmvSB=true&nma=true&si=%2Fs8QomOaONdt1mTkk5bu%2BWKPp5E%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 I would consider buying the whole knob if you have that instead and don't want to tear it apart.
Replaced my suspension with TTT stuff and coilovers. I'm selling the original arms and tension rods. They would make a good candidate for refurb. The whole car had lots of undercoating so these are mostly rust free. Rear control arms do not have the big bolts that hold the bushings on. I had to reuse those. Front control arm ball joints are both shot also. Tension rods don't include the bushings (they were so destroyed anyway). Located in Bellevue, WA 98008 if you are local. Front Control Arms: $75 shipped in the US Rear Control arms: $90 shipped in the US. Tension Rods: $30 shipped in the US Front LCAs: Rear LCAs: Tension Rods:
Hi all, After much ado, I'd like to announce that we are bringing back the classifieds forum. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... 2007, we decided to stop classifieds in our forums. The main reason was to allow us to develop a self-expiring ad system. Well, since then, we have made many many changes to the site. While we still maintain our sister site DatsunClassifieds.com, I noticed that small (and quick) personal ads were being left in the dust. DatsunClassifieds.com is your best venue to find a serious buyer for your big projects such as completed restorations, commercial sellers, and hard to find items, we think there is still a need for the small personal ads. The Classic Zcar Club is here to support the hobby of owning, restoring, and fixing classic Datsun's. Let's face it, parts are hard to find, and every year I am seeing that people need a place to come to discuss this rare and valuable car. Opening the classifieds forum gives you, as a member, a place to come and ask questions about parts, swap parts, ask for parts, give away parts, and sell parts. This is part of operating a community and I want to make sure you guys have a place to do this. Anyway, you'll be able to see the new forum on our main forum page or you can click here to open it now. I also moved the Ebay/Craigslist and Garage Businesses into this forum as well. You may also see some very old ads from early 2000 in there. I will be cleaning these up over time. I'm also currently working on developing a self-expiring topic for these forums which should be completed sometime in 2016. Have a good time and enjoy the flashback to our old days. If you need a rare part, or have one to swap, come on in and post a message. We have over 24k members, there should be someone who will have a part for you. Mike
