I got one running in the car that needs to be sold. It will not go for a $1 but still be a reasonable price. The 2.4L runs great can be driven prior to purchase. I took pictures last night and will up load a classified add tonight after work.

Had the same problem in my 73, it was my headlight contacts burning up. Had to replace the switch, luckily I had a brand new one on the shelf. It was scary.

One time on a chat board the administrator was being sued for words that were placed on the board(a judge later dismissed the charges on free speech grounds). Long story short a pay pal account was set up so we could donate money to help defer his costs. Just an idea to help a fellow Zer.

As an owner of a 78Z on the other end of condition chart of this one, I must agree that the reserve will most likely be more than anyone is willing to pay for a 78. I currently have a 73 and 71 that both are in very good condition but I still love my ugly old 78 better. If I had unlimited funds I would very interested in this car.

I am currently working on a project 71Z with a very strong L24 motor. The car is owned by a friend. We are building a L28 for the car which means the running motor will be sold. The reason I am putting out here vice in the classified is because if you are a So-Cal local you can drive the car and get a feel for the engine. The car also has a real nice header and 3' inch exhaust that will be sold as well. If interested drop me a PM and we can make arrangements. I am not sure when the engine will be pulled, but once it is it will be placed in the classified adds.

From a guy who has a few beers in Bahrain let me ask you one question: How my 280Z are there in Bahrain now? I bet you are one of very few. If you take care of your car and work to improve it every year in the end its value will increase vice decrease. I am sure that if you Z does not sell for a good price in Bahrain, it would in UAE or Kuwait. I am sure once you sell something like a 280Z in Bahrain your chance of owning another is very little. I hate to say this but, a BMW has never made me turn my head nor have I ever placed a BMW car show on my calander like I do the West Coast Nationals. BMWs come and go. One other question: Did you attend the F1 event last weekend? How great is it to have F1 visit your country.

If you want it rebuilt you might contact Zs-ondabrain, he rebuilds they at a very good price. I have been meaning to send my 73 switch up to him but I have been very lazy, I will do this week. I have heard from other that Dave does excellent work. Drop him an PM, he will respond very quickly.

I had similar problems, I just took my door apart to assess my problems. I took the entire door lock and assemble out, cleaned up, greased up some parts and now she is working great although my hands and arms are all torn up, from reaching around inside the door. While I had it apart I drove to Classic Datsun and got me a new door handle(mine was a little pitted). It was fun job and I can glad I did it, now I just need some new dovetails and everything will be like new. Les did not have dovetails in stock.

So has the best prices and service when it comes to exterior door handles and dove tails? I could always order from MSA.

I have been selling some items on ebay lately, so today I went to the post office to ship them and the postal worker explained to me a way I could have saved money; she talked to me about the flat rate postal service. It is 5X8 thick envelope that cost $4.05 to ship as long as it fits in the envelope regardless of weight. I will use flat rate from here on out on items I know will fit into the envelope to save the buyers money. I believe in the pay it forward concept in hopes that people I buy from believe in the same. To be honest with you I stay away form guys like Reddat on ebay. The reason is they usually sell items that you can buy at the dealer at a mark up. Guys like Reddat are the reason Motorsport got involved ebay. Saul was at our Z club meeting last month with Abram. He said MSA was surprised that people were over paying for items that they sell and how much more people would pay, so they moved Abram over to the internet sells department and have him listing parts on ebay. I would buy from MSA, Nissan, Classic Datsun and any other fellow club member.

That is because my daugther was the one who took his pictures so he was behaving which is rare for that pup. He was just flirting his mom.

I sold a 73 two years ago in way better shape for $250.

Nismo does not have a museum. They have a little show room up in Kawasaki. I did a behind the scenes tour because my friend was working as an executive at Nissan. I was told my the marketing guy who gave me the tour that it is not common to allow people in the garage and storage area. It was cool none the less, I saw some real cool stuff. I also saw carbon fiber parts of the Calsonic car in the dumpster too. All and all it was a fun day, got some great gifts too.

Great project, love the work that you have done. The center console is awesome as well, I like boholio would like to get my hands on one. If it is a "one off" custom you should consider producing more for sale. I am sure you could get MSA to distribute them here in the states.
