  1. I think the long go on the back and the short on the front. When I put the Eibachs on my 73 I had to change the rear insultor to the 280 insulator which is a little taller. That leveled out my car and it looks and handles great.

I am pretty sure they only came in cut. The sectional kits he sells are awesome and worth the money. I put a kit I got from Eiji in a 78 several years ago and it fit just like it came from the factory. I hate the molded stuff, it never looks right. You will be very please with the kit from Datusn Spirit.

Guy is right on this one, I got a kit for a 78 a few years back and it was exactly like the stock original carpet. I really liked the quality of the Datsun Spirit kit.
  4. Rich, Chico and I are going to go for this kit; the price is right and we got a lot of items that need to be done. I hope we can make our zinc as nice as you do.
  5. On Saturday I put my vintage leather Recaro seat in my car. I had to relocate my Wesco seatbelt retractor in order to get the seat back as far as I like it. The seat looks awesome in the car, it feels even better to ride in. I only have one and I will be looking for another one.
  6. Also Classic Datsun has nice vinyl replacements.
  7. I will take that Auto Tranny interior parts off your hands. I like the matching front and real Hemet Datsun plate frames. Hemet California Datsun must have been really small, back then Hemet was tiny.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw this picture. Simply Awesome.
  9. I can see why you made that mistake; that 300 in white in looking really sweet.

What wheels are you running on there?
  11. It was a great weekend here in San Diego weather wise so I am sure you got a lot done. The brakes should be an easy job.

I used this guy to ship a car from Colorado to Southern California. They did a great job and the price was awesome. It is a husband and wife team; they are super nice too. Glory Auto Transport NoneDeer Trail,CO,80105 303 - 484 - 3363 303-822-6767 http://www.gloryautotransport.com/
  14. That is so sad to hear; my prayers go out to his family, friends and fellow club members.

Nice list; I got 2 on the list. The Zs and the Miatas, other than that I never owned any of them.
  16. Ok Rich, If you had voted for me in the 240 class I would have won just like the 260 guy did. It is time for MSA to consider doing a 3 judge panels, plus the peer voting to come up with winners. We have to standardize the judgement of our cars, we need to have a "Bloomington Gold" type level grading of the cars. I could be "Orange Gold" or something like that. The owner could get a certificate from the panel that would be attached to the car and make it more valuable and bring out a larger group of high quality cars along with cars like mine and others. I think making a joke out voting or winning this show is not in the best interest of the hobby. Just my opinion.
  17. Looking forward to the ride, just got a vintage Recaro LX black leather for my car so I should be riding in comfort. My car is not up to the Motorman7 level; he has set the bar. I am going up both days; I love the garage sale, my plan for Saturday is: Cars and Coffee, Garage Sale then back to San Diego. I will have my boy Junior as my co-pilot. Junior is my youngest dog; my daughter who lives in Pomona is taking him off my hands so he can go visit a Senior home and give love to people, a therapy dog. I will have to stay in Orange County until noon when Junior is ready to go back home. I might not take the Z on Saturday, maybe drive a Miata or the ol Montero. Get back to San Diego and make last minute prep on the Z. I have an action packed weekend for sure.
  18. I believe the poster Bob Clucas owns it. I saw it at the Coronado Festival of Speed and heard it was at Monterey too. If you really need to know were a vintage race car is? Ask Les at Classic Datsun Racing, he was just showing me and my friend the other day pictures of vintage race cars along with history and current placement of the cars. Either he knows where it is or his client owns it.

Well Mr. Beck it will be yours then. It has 5 forward gears and one reverse gear in its gear pattern schematic atop of the knob.

Yes sir Carl, it is brand new in the bag and it has the 5 gears on the top. It is perfect.

I will buy a ticket for sure. I meet Victor several years ago when he was giving away his 1965 L320 Datsun truck. My buddy took it off his hands and it is in my buddy's garage. My prayers to out to Victor.
  23. Got a vintage Recaro leather seat for my 73 for $200 with Recaro seat rail. I am so pumped; found it on Craigslist Orange County. I did not even barter on the price; I took it and it will be delivered today so I can install it in time for MSA.
  24. I have a real sweet Clutchmasters Stage IV clutch kit that I am selling, it would be awesome for the motor set-up you are planning to run. I also have an ultra-rare HKS Dynamic Flywheel both are brand new in the box.
  25. They are great high compression heads and I would highly recommend it for a L24. Looks fresh in the picture.
