There's a guy up here who is trying to get that swap done. I know one of the mechanics he's brought it to. Challenge is that the body of his '72 is pretty rusty/weak so no one wants to touch the project. And that's beyond hella fast...and can be driven on the road... I'm not a fan of V8 swaps (although a couple of Nissan V8 swaps have been intriguing), but at least the 2jz is Japanese (and one hell of an engine, not that hard to get 700+ out of them and I've seen a number of them quoted at 1,000+, but a little suspicious of how viable that is). Turbo was available on all years of 300ZX's (84-88 for the Z31 body style and 89-96 for Z32 body style, 89 was a gap year for the 300ZX in some markets I believe). Don't believe there is such a beast as a factory 350Z turbo. Only things I've seen have been aftermarket mod's and for whatever reason, I've seen 350Z's sporting aftermarket superchargers much more often than turbos. Cheers,
