the big round ones to me look like they are made for ken mary c110 c10 etc..car... the triangular ones are usually for US 240sx or japan silvia cars, 1989-1994...i have tein camber plates on my c110 which are triangular and came from a camber kit for 240sx/ silvia cars. they both work the same and should be fine with either. mikey
  5. i run a quick release steering wheel hub so the wiring my look different than yours, but all you do it run the ground wire behind 1 of the 6 screws that bolt to the hub to the steering wheel and your ground is done, then hook up that power wire to the single spade behind the horn button and your horn should work, if not email me ill go through it with more detail... mikey
  6. hey lachlan...i read the post kinda fast but jus wondering if you figured out youor horn not working problem....ive played with so many wires on different cars with no horns but managed to get them all working.... if your horn still not working...the nardi horn button might have 1 or 2 spade tabs (1) for ground and the other for power...most of the time the middle tab is power. what i did on my nardi button, i made a ground tab, look at the pics so you can see the idea what i did, bascially i got a dremel and cut 2 slits and bent it to make a tab so i can plug a spade connector to it. with the ground tab, you can connect it to one of the 6 screws for the steering wheel for ground. and for the power wire just connect it to the original horn power wire in the harness, if your not sure what wire it is, you can trial and error, grab some wire you think is the horn and ground it, it it honks then you got the right wire. if you still need some help email me at mikeseez@cox.net mikey
  7. used to be chucks....he left for japan and sold it to my buddy...right now still has the L28 stroker motor but will be throwing that away soon after the queen mary show in LB, ill keep you posted on the car...just wait til you see the new setup....hehehehe...thats all for now...take care all yes the car was at MSA...was chucks at the time..the people who was with the car taking car of it then are now the new owners of the car...now only if we can get a hgc210 for my buddy we can have fun with 3 generation skylines driving here in the US....wouldnt that be a site to see...

i thought id post pics of my buddies 4 door kgc10 now that he finally had time to take pics of it.. mikey
  9. well i went with the sr20det route as you all know. i know it may not have skyline heritage but its still a great motor, if i had RB money i would have gone RB. too bad i got offered a rb20det motor yesterday motor and trans for $250 US dollars, i might pick it up jus cus its cheap and have it in my backyard for future plans, also reason i went SR, my tuner tunes these motors so well and good parts availablity. if SR20dets are being used in skylines and 350zs i figure it would be cool in the KGC. im not looking for big HP numbers. with the new turbo i should be getting 400whp pretty easy which is way more than enough power for a KGC. i already driven a 510 with 375whp with SR20DET motor stock internals, super afc, ITC, 550cc injectors, z32 maf, t3/t4 turbo, i/c and some race gas and a very mild tuned ecu, basically limters cut. would have gone more power with stand alone ecu but thats next. as i move along in the conversion ill post updates, im happy how its been coming out and looks very clean. before i did the conversion believe me it took a year to decide on what i wanted to do, weighed out all my options price wise and availability. since im here in the US sr20det parts were pretty easy to get, i thought about l28et, rb20det, rb20de with carbs, rb25det, sr20det, and ca18det. personally building the car i wanted something different but at the same time worthy of putting in the car, i know the sr wasnt traditional but i tried my best to make the swap clean and look respectable, i want to have people see the car and motor and open their eyes to a KGC and what is possible, not many people know about KGC cars here,,all they know is the hakusuka box....whatever you decide on what motor to use just build it with love. mikey
  10. i kinda got a beater car,,,hehe when i first got it...it has its highs and lows...body is pretty straight very low rust..only major spot i can find is above the passengerside window about 1in by 1.5in. only real bad thing is the cars interior wasnt complete but alfadog is helping me in that area.....!!! all i need is the front air dam which i may be contacting miles very very soon. i ordered my microtech stand alone ecu so should be getting the car running this year forsure...hopefully by sept. for the queen mary show here in the states. little by little car is almost done. ill update pics when i get a chance... mikey
  11. thought id add a 4 door pic as well.....and since we talkin bout 4 doors how bout a pic of a c110 with a stock 4 cyl motor....i didnt know they had these..hehe...well mine is to as you all know..hehe mikey
  12. oh yeah if your interested i may be able to get a pair of 15x11.5 watanabes for about $800-900. i was thinking of getting them so i can do the wide flares but its just gonna slow my cars progress so i chose to skip the wide flares and make a clean and running car...let me know...see yah mikey
  13. no worries...if your around the san diego area shoot me an email and ill shoot you and address and number so you can check out the C110. ill be getting another 240z maybe next weekend but only to sell not to keep....goal this year is to have a running and painted skyline....and it will happen....hehe] mikey
  14. oh yea heres how the rims fit on my 240ZG mikey check this out i found the link with my watanabes with the BFG slicks on them...!!! u can see why i had to cut my fenders..hehe http://www.geocities.com/coolin550/flare7.html
  15. hey eric heres the pic of the z car i got the wheels from...guy was name clint or "stony" in the z world. the front wheels had to be repaired when i got them, they both had cracks in them....took the wheels at a head shop and they welded them right up....no more leaks and are fine...i drive on them everyday on my 240sx. sorry dude didnt mean to take your stuff...i promise i wont take what you want next. soooooo what did u want next????? hehe ill let you know if i have it already hehehe laters mikey
  16. wow 15x10 fronts and 15x12 rears wow i guess theres a lot of watanabes in alaska cus i got my set of watanabes on ebay from stony out in alaska as well and had 275-50 BFG drag slicks on them, it was also on a red 240z with an RB26dett motor. i actually sold him back the slicks for about $200. i still have the pics somewhere when they arrived to my home....hehehe when i put them on my 240z Gnose i couldnt even set the car all the way down...my car sat so low the flares were already sitting on the BFG's and still have about and inch of release on the jack. my watts are 15x10 and 15x8.5 which is decent. wish i had a better offset on the fronts but im not complaining. i can still get 14x9.5s and 14x9s for about $1600 or so with a nice negative offset but i think i wanna stick with 15's i dont know why im stuck on 15s. oh yea i scored my watanabes on ebay for the whole set for $750 too...hehe well im sure ill drive the car to los angeles when i visit frens but i dont think ill be sporting the "works" front grill. bumper, kit combonation...but surely will see it out driving...i didnt spend all this money for it to sit..i wanna have fun with it even if its a risk taking it out sometimes. see yah mikey
  17. wow!!! You guys are so much help! very appreciated. will put all on disk and send to my body shop and see what we can do from there.....i wish i can do the full flare kit but i dont have wide enough wheels to fill it plus its pretty hard to get watanabes in that size and if i do...its gonna cost me half my body. i might end up doing the whole front end but not so agressive...maybe enough to match stock GTR flare....maybe a bit smaller airdam but everything else try to match. maybe someday when i get rich ill do the full flare kit and get wheels to match but as for now will try my best to get close to it and still look very clean...i will be still painting the car the goldish gunmetal color same as my engine bay...im sure it will look classic and clean. thanks all for the replys and pics CHEERS! mikey heres a couple pics again of the color of my engine bay if you havent seen it yet.
  18. hey everyone well actually i need pics of a special c110 gtr. it was the number 73 race version. if anyone can email me more pics of the grill or atleast front area, my friend at a body shop is going to try and replicate the front race grill and airdam before october where we will be entering my car in a show. i may be making a set of flares, airdam, and rear spoiler in carbon fiber if time permits. pictures of this special will be greatly appreciated. heres an example of which skyline im reffering to:
  19. yes they did i have a 73 skyline GTX C110 and the door panels have no holes in them for any crank mechanism and in the side of the door had wires sticking out unfortunately whoever owned my car before me forgot to leave me with some windows....DOH!!!!
  20. oh man i think im done with my car til i get some coilovers, i have the Tein adjustable front camber plates now on the car. i think im going to try 225/50 fronts and 245/50 rears. people keep coming over to the house and looking at the 15x10 rear wheels and see 225-50 tires and wonder how that fits and be safe..... i see it all the time at the watanbe websites so i figure why not plus the tires are cheap. hehe as for the rear i actually want to raise up the car but i think the 245 tires will fix that. heres a pic of my intake manifold i just got it polished now time to change all the old nuts and bolts with new and should be ready to get it running. mikey c110- Hehe, very nice mikey - i think i have those pictures in my collection Just make sure, if you do decide to lower your car further, to get some adjustable camber plates, or some similar device, in order to counter-act the excessive negative camber that will result from lowering the rear end! Out of interest, what profile tires are you going for at the front? Tom
  21. now this is how i want my c110 to look like...clean and tough all-in-one. wouldnt want to race this car. man the front looks so low, i wish i could get mine like that, at the moment i cant even get a low profile jack under my front jack-up point. i need bigger tires up front. the frame to the floor on my c110 is 5 fingers. i really need bigger tires...hehe
  22. cam i bought the wheels few years ago for about $575 for the set. there are just painted flat black w/polish lip for now but will be powder coating them all black later when tires are gone out. sakijo yea i can get more tire but theres not much to choose from here in the states for 15" rims either 275-50s which i had before and i couldnt even set the car all the way down because the car was lowered so much that the flares would rest on the tire before i let it all the way down. but another choice wuld be some 245-50 tires. im ok with the 225 right now but will get other tires when needed not in a hurry to get some tires at the moment,
  23. i do have the header tank...just not installed as of yet...i will surely add the coolant first,,thanks as for the grill, lights, bumpers, etc...will be and easy fix...all need to do is make tabs and weld them to the new core support. will do all when i get the parts from lachlan. heres a few more pics with the intercooler pipes and blow off valve mikey
  24. couple more pics sr20DET V-mount setup z32 fuel pump custom mounted in tank
