  6. Yikes, locating DOT approved 175R14 or 175/80R14 tires is a chore. So far these are the options: Radar Dimax Classic 175R14 88H BSW Dunlop Sport Classic | 175/80R14 88H Michelin XAS | 175HR14 88H Vredestein Sprint Classic 175HR14 Nankang NA-1 175/80R14 The choices 10 years ago were much more varied. The vehicles that used this size as OEM were: 1967-72 Mercedes-Benz (W114/ W115) 1980-83 Mercedes-Benz 240D (OE with 175R14) 1980-85 Peugeot 505 Sedan (OE with 175SR14) 1980 Toyota Celica Supra (OE with 175R14) 1981-86 Toyota Celica ST (OE with 175SR14) 1980-82 Toyota Corona DLX,LE (OE with 175R14) 1980-84 Volvo 242 DL (OE with 175SR14) 1980-85 Volvo 244 DL (OE with 175SR14) As the above models became scrapped the demand for the tire size shrunk. The hunt continues. Keith

  19. I have several attended Hershey Spring and Fall events over the last 15 years. There is very little Datsun/Nissan presence…some cars at the corrals. Datsun/Nissan Parts and literature is almost nonexistent. If you do attend budge time for the America’s Transportation Experience at Hershey … the AACA Museum, Inc. https://www.aacamuseum.org/. The Tucker exhibit is incredible!!! keith

The early USDM cars did not come With carpet nor Jute underlay. To my knowledge, C&H cut these pieces using their proprietary patterns. The trimming of the cut outs for the drain plugs and the foot rest, and the seat mount brackets were at their discretion and may not have been consistently done. Keith

All, I recently acquired this Kanto Seiki (Smiths) tachometer. Unfortunately, no documentation was included with the purchase. As you can see, four wires (red, yellow, white, and black) are attached. There is no switch to indicate 4-6-8 cylinder setting. Does anyone have documentation on this tachometer or can offer guidance on the proper connection to a 4 or 6 cylinder Datsun? Thanks in advance, Keith

Perhaps Resurrected Classics should post photos of the back side of the hub caps. Neither the ebay ad nor the website (https://resurrectedclassics.com/products/datsun-240z-d-hubcap-set) offers back side photos! This would allow potential buyers to make a more informed decision on the accuracy of the reproduction. Keith
