Coil Recommendation 75-280Z
What coil do you guys recommend for a 75 280? Everything basically stock with mild Isky cam upgrade. Should I just use comparable factory one or hotter? Thanks for your input! Bryan

Looking for a hose.
Yeah, I just talked to Courtesy and part # 14055-N1400 is NLA. The problem with this one is that it has 2 different size ends. Anyone have any suggestions?

Looking for a hose.
Yeah, you guys are right, I listed the wrong part number. Although I ordered #53 from the local dealer and it was the one for the left side #59. They said the other one was NLA. So I'm still stuck!

Looking for a hose.
Does anyone by any chance have one of these? Its for a 75 280 & the part number is 14055-N4200. Its a water by-pass hose that goes from the thermostat housing and to a pipe and then to a water inlet right in front of the head. Its an L shape and has 2 different size ends. Its the one on the right facing the engine. Bryan

Exhaust Manifold/Header Torque Specs
Does anyone know off hand what the tightening torque should be for the header nuts on a 75 280? Also, wonder if there would be any problem with using stainless steel nuts and washers on the factory studs? I've searched the FSM and found the specs for the intake but not the exhaust. Bryan

msa performance exhaust, 6-1 header with pics
I know this is an old thread but for those of you who have installed a header, do you remember what you torqued the nuts to? Also I wonder if there would be any problem with using stainless nuts and washers on the factory exhaust manifold studs? Thanks for any input! Byan

Pertronix Ignitor 1761 install and coil evaluation
Has anyone done the ZX distributor swap specifically into a 75 280? I wonder if there would be a significant improvement as well. Bryan

Throttle Body Disassembly?
I wonder how much heat the air flow meter can withstand.... as in 400 degrees for about 20 minutes?? Thats what it requires to powder coat it.

Throttle Linkage Question
Well, just as I suspected 18300-N4200 is no longer available from Nissan. Thanks for the website Sarah, I'll check it out. In the meantime if anyone has one of these in good shape, I would be interested.

Throttle Linkage Question
I'm in exactly the same boat. I have a 75. Wonder if someone might post up the page from the fishe with the linkage and the section with the part #'s. My CD doesn't want to cooperate these days. I'd like to see if the linkages with bushings might still be available from Nissan.

Throttle Body Disassembly?
Have any of you guys ever disassembled a throttle body from a 75. I'm talkin about completely! I need to take one apart as far as possible without getting it out of adjustment in order to completely clean and cosmetically restore it to better than new condition. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks Bryan

Best Method for Cosmetic Restoration (Engine Components)
I'm reassembling the exterior engine components on my 75 and trying to cosmetically restore everything thru painting, powdercoating, polishing, ceramic coating etc. I'm looking for opinions on cleaning up the throttle body and air flow meter considering the electricals and moving parts, not to mention the fairly complicated shapes. I'm not sure if they could be broken down enough to powdercoat or not. Any experiences/suggestions?

Microfiche CD-ROM
I've switched my computer out for a new one and I guess upgraded to Explorer 8 from 7 and now the only thing that will open on the CD is the introduction. (27 pages) Nothing else will open up. Any suggestions?
