  1. got it! 4800 is too much. I think I agree w/ you. Based on input from everyone..I am continuing to search for the right car. However, he has lowered the car to 4000 + the original motor (don't know the condition?) + other misc... Anyway, I'm keeping my options open and trying (really trying) to be patience. Although it's really tough - I'd really like to start racing. Hopefully I can get one so I can try it out at the Mt. Shasta Event at Thunderhill track day.   2. Thanks for all the reply. I'm hoping to see the car in person today. I was suppose to see it yesterday, but he couldn't meet me because the battery would not hold charge - hmmmm....this should knock the price off by 1000 bucks??:classic: the car do looks good from the pictures.   5. Can anyone recommend a few things done to (my hope 2 be new 240z) suspension. I want to start autocrossing and some high speed driver's ed.   6. Hello, I'm looking to purchase my very 1st 240z a '72. I'm looking for someone in the Sacramento Calif area (elks grove) to do a PPI - Pre purchase inspection. Will post pics soon to get the boards advice on the car.
