Control arm removal question
I fought that :tapemouthing part for the better part of three days. Finally I just replaced the whole assembly with another. And yes, the old one is still alongside the house. It has been the only thing to beat me yet on a Z. Except for figuring out my double read on my tach issue...

Car Of The Month
what grain did you use to wet sand, 1200? Now you have me curious... As much as I don't think of this as my final way of doing this, it will protect it better for now, primer for a long time is not a good idea... you never said how many cans... And how many coats before you wetsanded???

Car Of The Month
how many cans is that????????????

Car Of The Month
I agree, mine is the same way.... I need to do something tho, primer is not waterproof and that concerns me... I may have to look into rustoleum Yellow.... What the heck, it's close enough to Ferrari yellow anyway.

What The???
Once I noticed on a friends Z the three nuts on the top of the strut tower (in the rear) had worked a bit loose. After tighteneing he noticed a difference. Now if he was experiencing the same thing as you is another guess. He just never noticed it due to the fact they are covered by the post cap... Good luck and let us know, the supense of your suspension is killing me :nervous:

Here's the rusty area....

And here's the Z
I plan on getting you those shots later today... And yes, please measure that sunroof, if it's bigger than the one I currently have I would be interested, providing the seals are somewhat decent...That's the only concern that I have is putting in a leaker... I'll talk to you later today...

And here's the Z
Hey Beandip, Enjoy the coast, I'm jealous...And, no, I did not get the e-mail regarding the color tune....You enjoy the beach!!! And by the way did you get a chance to check out the Ztherapy videos yet? And not yet on the round tops, still looking for the linkage set, Jordan still has the entire carb set, I just need to work it out with him... It just seems pointless to have 4 SU's. Zorro, thanks for the reply!! The interior is actually flawless, well, I take that back, the seats need some work, I do not like the "covers"...They aren't bad, just don't fit the seat like I would prefer. The color I think will be yum-yum yellow, although for now I'm tempted to run a couple of dark purple stripes over the top of the primer , but I can't quite bring myself to do that, I can't decide weather that's a good or stupid idea. Paint will most likely be next spring... I need to do something about the sunroof  I do not like it, it's a silicone mess from the previous owner, the only thing other than putting on a new roof (which I do NOT want to to) is to look for another sunroof that's larger...suggestions anyone???? Well you all have a great day and I look forward to chatting will all o' ya soon....

Money.......(the bell tolls)
St.st: Yes I will have pics by Friday, the USB cable for my digital camera suddenly walked away and I had to order another, it will be here hopefully Wed. then I will be able to DL all of the pics that I keep promising people... I have access to a plasma cutter and I think that is half the battle right there, I am also friends with what I feel is one of the best welders / fitters in the whole damn state, (Mr. Strode, please take a bow...) Once I get those up to date I'm sure you will be able to eyeball the area... Thanks and I'll post 'em ASAP... You have a great Wednesday sir... B

Money.......(the bell tolls)
Well St.steven I am about to embark on the frame rail on a '73 that has that popular nasty spot below the battery on the spot where the frame and body com together.... Advice? It looks like quite the task, but it really needs to be done. I've heard the initial part is not too expensive but the labor can be... Floor panels have been done, but I'm not exactly happy with the way that the previous guy did it / had it done.... Thanks for any advice.... Hope everyone had a safe and fun Labor day!!
