Hm, good question. I always imagined the Z432-R would be the better of the two (same reasoning as Eric) but I dunno... you would have thought Nissan would race their best car more extensively...?

Something to take note of - the auto and manual trans will have different idle speeds IIRC??
  6. It's a scam. (see previous topic: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14313&page=1&highlight=350z)

Ben, I'm pretty sure they're still there - the angle makes it hard though. Looks great! I would like to see more pictures of it... next Z nats?

It started off with the Countach and as I recall the reason behind the scissor doors was to do with the WIDTH of the car too. But yes, there's an engineering reason behind it (like the handbrake :tapemouth).

OK, apparently "butterfly" is the name given to the dual hinged doors such as on a McLaren F1. Gullwing is like a Delorean, and scissor like a Lamborghini... so I guess the closest thing is the scissor door... but I still think it looks a bit daft leaning outwards like that... What you REALLY want is dihedral synchro-helix doors

TVR really pioneered this paint as far as I know, and they now offer three kinds - chameleon (2 colours), reflex (3 colours) and cascade (5 colours). That's from what I remember, it is probably wrong. Anyway, I think it looks a bit poofy (and definitely ricey) to be honest.

Thing is, they're not even "lambo doors". Lamborghinis have scissor doors, not these (which are called "butterfly doors" or something). Personally, I think they look stupid! Even more stupid if they cost 2 grand to fit!! Lame-o doors are a better name

Blue 'n' Black. I like it - very original colour scheme.
  23. good one ben, I like the Crown Vic one the best I think Z Forum: "Will fenders from a 260Z/280Z fit a 240Z?" That must be the most asked question here.....! or maybe..... "I have a 100% RUST FREE Z for sale..... just a bit in the boot...and the fenders.... and bubbles I think in the dogleg.."

Actually I thought a lot wanted the "Aero" roof, because then more people can see them. Isn't that the whole idea of a Supra?
