  2. Alfadog commented on Fun_in_my_z's comment on a gallery image in Big Z Photo Collection
  3. About re-creating a tail light panel as a single piece instead of the three. Are you sure the original panel is not comprised of three pieces for a reason?
  4. Ive seen that too craig The worst part about it is it looks like it was in pretty good shape to begin with
  5. They dont look long enough to be Z items to me.
  6. Interesting! Thanks Stephen

    It's getting hot isn't it?
  8. Hey Stephen, do you have a picture of the special lugnut? Just for curiosity's sake..
  9. When I bought my Z, the P.O. drove it up from Sydney (950km) Long live the Datsun indeed! :classic:

Geez that would be quick. edit: the 140Z, not the ZX. I don't care about the ZX.
  12. Each vid was under 10 minutes ? Maybe they timed out on me The boat going into the air into the powerlines was one of hte flukiest!
  13. The owner of the red racecar with a G-nose and flares is a member of this site. Are you around?? Are your pictures being used with permission?

Hi Rick I find the MG guys to be the best fun :devious: You can always see they are checking out your car, but trying to look inconspicuous at the same time. Whenever I saw an MG drive by in my Z, I always just grinned at them. You can tell what they're thinking!

Firstly, excellent info Chris, and presented well too. I really enjoy reading about these cars, even if I'll probably never see one! Vicky, what makes you say that? To me those cars look like they have been restored perfectly. Is there something specific you saw that was left out you feel should have been done? Any "fine details"? I'm not attacking you, just interested!!
  17. Do it! Removing those awful, ugly side markers does wonders for the car IMO.
  18. COME On QUEENSLANDERS!!
  19. I would like to see things you dont see every day. ie Interviews with important Nissan/Datsun people (everyone is thinking Mr. K right now!), cars in action in HIGH RES, with GOOD sound quality (and no voice overs!), comparisons between different Z's, history of the car including design & development, testing (Canada!) and "The Goertz Story", racing footage, articles on home-market spec cars (and indeed markets other than America too to note the differences and also to talk to Z owners from around the world!)... There is quite a load of stuff that could be done. I would much rather have more focus on Japan and the people who were actually behind the car than Big Sam and Pete Brock talking about racing their cars in America. But that's just me I guess. FWIW!!
  20. I think Mike (the owner of this site, btw) was just posting that info for others who might actually be interested in carbon fibre parts, and don't want to wait/pay for shipping from Sweden. P.S. from the looks of this CF bonnet, Will's idea might work!!!
  21. That has nothing to do with it! Honest! *sob*
  22. That's funny, IMO the rear panel looks best on a silver car.
  23. NB: You have to have numlock on first!
  24. It could just be the odd lighting like Stephen alluded to. Notice the body colour is a blueish silver, whilst the rear panel has no blue in it. It's grey. It does look like it's too light though. If you're interested in it, ask for another picture! Or better yet, look at it in person.
  25. The very thought makes me tingle all over! Oh man...
