  1. I don't want to ruin Kats' thread, but just so everyone knows: 1. I do not live in the US, 2. I do not own a Z, and 3. I definitely do not think Goertz designed the S30! That's why I said in my post that I agreed with Kats on every point. I just thought it was a pretty broad statement to say "everyone in the US" believes the same thing. Hell, there are still magazine articles being written saying the S30 was really German-designed :stupid:. That is all!
  2. It's a mean look with the new wheels Victor. Nice shots - thankyou!

    Yeah, make that three!
  4. Everyone in the US, Bryan? Big call! Thankyou Kats for sharing your thoughts about the Japanese Z fans! We do not get to hear very much from them as there are not many Japanese members on the board. I am very proud that you post here though :classic:, and of course, I agree with you on all points. Like Ben said, it is very interesting to see what actually goes on in Japan. It also answers what I was asking in the other "1969" thread about what Japanese publishers publish - it is mostly about the Japanese models.

Finding a set of good 240Z tail lights is the difficult part!

Hello! I have noticed that the roof of my interior is pretty dusty especially around the edges, and really could do with a good clean. Apart from taking the whole thing out to clean, is there any particular method you'd use so that you get a decent enough force while not stretching the material. I know, sounds simple enough just to use water and a cloth, but I thought there could be a trick to it . . . :cross-eye
  8. Awesome! Perfect! Almost... I would feel bad driving it though.

  11. I should probably learn to quote the right people too :stupid:
  12. Nice job, did you take pics at all?
  13. I would advise the glovebox / rear window idea. My friend had one on his RX7 and it worked a treat. The 350Z's antenna looks stupid IMO- on any car!

Nice wheels Richard! I love the dish. I have 5" steelies. But! Thanks to Alan T. soon the C110 will have the Watanabe RS-8 14x7.5 Type A and 14x9 Type R wheels that are sitting in my bedroom - http://www.classiczcars.com/photopost/showphoto.php?photo=12505&sort=1&cat=3079&page=1 Sorry if they're too "ricey" Richard :nervous: They will be on the car in 2 weeks, promise.
  15. I know Carl, it just seemed like a silly thing to point out the Neon's safety when the alternative is a 240Z. Trying to be subtle :nervous:

Or maybe even a small man? (famous picture from RS-Watanabe.co.jp)

I know, pretty silly! Something for a Works C110 replica perhaps...?
  19. I wonder how much better a Z is...?

Beautiful pics Jim. C10's always make my heart skip a beat. So the modified GTX grille wasn't "good enough" anymore eh?

What about this Richard? http://page13.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/r9257434 :cheeky:
  22. A Z isn't for everyone, all the time. All I will say is go with your heart first, then your head. Life's too short for logic.

Dogma, I'm glad you took my previous post in good humour (humor), some would take it completely the wrong way which was not my intention... British people say "Zed" too. I was always told "Zee" was an American-English thing... It's amusing to think of how differently we say things.. "BMW ZEE THREE" sounds totally weird to me

I find it curious that everyone I have met from around the world knows that Americans say "ZEE", yet there are still some Americans who didn't realise most of the rest of the world says "ZED"! I blame Sesame Street!!
  25. Ah, so it was just a typo. That's alright then!! Thought you were going nuts...
