1971 240z G Nose Fairlady Right Hand Drive
If you look closely you'll see he hasn't actually called it a 240ZG, just a "240z G Nose Fairlady". But best clarify that its not a real ZG though, indeed. Especially if you're looking to buy it for how much its been appraised for........ even with those awkward flares

Silvia
Thankyou for the clarification Alan! It seemed a bit odd about the platform thing considering the Silvia was shown at Tokyo in 196....4? But you know, being young it's delicate to argue with older people...

200ZR... what is it?
Ya, a 200ZR is a special edition of the 300ZX - difference being tuned suspension and an RB20DET. Pretty fast from what I have heard!!!

C110 'GT-R' Tail light operation
For future reference, here's a site outlining how the tail lights of a C210 work. This is exactly the same as the 'GT-R' style tail lights for our C110's. http://www1.linkclub.or.jp/~ackn/any/tail/tail.html (this is probably why the outer globes on my tail lights are dual filament. One for parkers, and one for tail lights. Both sets I have must have been modified so that all four rings light up on parkers - I'm not complaining!)

Picture of one of my Watanabes! I polished up the lip with some metal polish and a lot of elbow grease and I think they came out pretty good! (Thanks Alan for sourcing these you make a good idol.) -

Horn Pad Removal
OK, repainted my centre bit - here's a pic! Now just a couple of modifications and it should fit in there snugly. It'll do until I get my red one...............................

Loss of power after high speed run
Interesting.. maybe I should do mine when I get some time. My K used to start first time with half a crank, but since I changed to dual SU's I need to use the choke at first if I don't want to be cranking over and over and over.

Horn Pad Removal
The thing is the centre part from a C210 is different to the C110. They look roughly the same from the front, but the C110's metal surround is actually metal, and the D is a piece of plastic which just falls out once you take the horn pad apart. The C210's centre bit is all one piece, plastic. I wanted to exchange just the blue circle because the C110's outer rim is slightly different (it slopes up at a steeper angle) but that looks to be impossible as the blue circle centre from teh C210 seems to be glued onto the plastic (metal imitation) rim. SO I'm repainting the outer rim of the C210's centre with some 'chrome' paint, we'll see how that looks. Hopefully I masked off the centre round bit alright! *phew* I wonder if anyone understood all that?

Horn Pad Removal
Hey How the heck do you get the horn pad off of a C110?! :stupid: I tried just pulling it off but it didn't seem to want to budge. Is there a trick to it?
