L14,16,20,24,28 All have there little differences. Just so happens the pistons I got have the pin height specified for the L20 connecting rod. I guess I will have to source these from overseas because I cannot justify custom building some rods that I know were in common place engines.
Sure is a wealth of knowledge over the web about these old scoots. I am still in need of the L20 (6) connecting rods. Or if someone has 89mm pistons that use the L24 connecting rods in combination with the LD crank I would be interested in getting them from you. Note that I do not desire plain ole 240sx pistons. The last thing I am going to do is use a piston from a non-horsepower inspired car in my ultimate 3.1 liter build. Keep the posts coming
This is the first day that I took ownership of my Hakosuka. The SSR 8.5j rims were the first thing I changed. 12j rear Watanabes and 6.5j front Watanabes looked much better.
Well put the word out downunder. I want to take the whole rotating assembly this month to SunBelt racing Engines in Atlanta for a complete balancing job from the front pulley to the flywheel. There is a NOPI Nationals Show in March at Panama City. I want to be there to show off my Hakosuka GTX.
L20's were in some of the older Datsun/Nisssans. Such as Maxima's, B210,510's maybe and trucks. With my LD28 crank and Tomei pistons this is the rod that will give my proper piston/deck clearance.
Urgent. Needed right away. L20 connecting rods (6). Will not bicker about price or from where they are coming from. As long as you are not trying to rape me on the price as I need them now. Thanks
