  1. And the homeland:cry:
  2. Across the puddle:love:
  3. It has taken great discipline to focus on that small stuff called print. But they do seem to have info on a earlier basis than other pubs. Poor Hef, got Mama's, money, and info before the rest. Must be tough!
  4. Was wondering if anyone would have info regarding Zcar events in the month of May in Colorado. Planning a trip to meet a good friend, and wanted to drive his 260 to a club event. I know it's early in the year, but thats when the plane tickets are the best price:classic: Thanks in advance for any help:classic:
  5. "Mantrack" (page 39) has a blurb about the new Mercedes/McLaren SLR, some rightous stats, but man!, who is responsible for autobody design nowdays? They need to re-hire the Classic Datsun Designers, and make a good looking front end!:classic:
  6. I agree:classic: That is one of the perils of ebay. It's not your neighbors car you can probe a little bit before purchase:cry:
  7. Sorry, I was having a sidebar with sin:love:
  8. That makes sense. Perhaps what I'm remembering, is a hinge up top, as a matter of fact, thats right! (brain fart)I used to clean the back glass and would lay the lovours(or how ever it's spelled), on the roof top:classic: :
  9. Shannon is on page 19. the comic on page 85 deserves a laughLOL Just received my copy this evening:classic: They need to make the cover bunny harder to find, like the ol days!
  10. Qoute from Shannon Malone "I like doing the motorcycle segments because they'd dress me in tight leather pants." I'll be willing to bet, "they'd" be more than one of us who could find something tighter for her to wear, ON THE HOOD OF A ZCAR!
  11. Sh*t happens! It never is a good taste when someone pulls the rug out... But the next day brings more dreams as well:classic:
  12. I wonder if there is a "factory image"/option list that would show? Yours do not have the pins up top?:classic:
  13. Wonder what the reserve is set at?:cross-eye
  14. Supra could be it. Hey by the way, One SWEET VEIW at the end of that race! (gallery):classic:
  15. Hey you know what? If you click on Bambikiller240"s gallery, I believe his are stock pullpin type. It's not the first row of pics, but the second. Oh and there is this DEFINATE DISRACTION PHOTO next to it!
  16. At first glance, those are not factory. :disappoin Allthough, I'm not sure, but I will research it. I had a couple of Z cars with them, and they had pull pins (fingertip type), to completely remove them from the car(mounted at the basic 4 corners, but inset). I could be wrong, yet those look like they are for Toyota's. Of course there is the off chance that both cars were from the same area, that they had the same aftermarket brands installed.:classic:
  17. Those rims do look damn good! Zcars are very hard to match rims too, and have a good overall look, aren't they?:classic:
  18. Less than a day left on this item!:classic: Guy states the engine is not turning over after sitting couple of years. But take a good look at the toys installed in this Z. Man if I was made of money.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2452063860&category=6187#ebayphotohosting If someone aquires this car, fill the cylinders with Marvel Mystery oil and let soak 1 week, and break free with breaker bar(not the starter)--she may be salvagable
  19. What is a 300? :classic: :classic: Can't count that high, can only get to 280!!!!
  20. ZRUSH, I was just taking a peek at your gallery, WOW! that is a WILD RIDE!!!!
  21. Amen ZRUSH!:classic: :classic: Allthough, for a daily driver..... Who am I kidding, I'm married with kids, and the earth shook, and a damn Dodge Caravan fell into my driveway!   But on the lighter side of things, for family use, you can't beat 'em
  22. In the past.. 2 of my z cars came with Grant steering wheels. I don't know if that was due to the time frame (late 80's early 90's), and they were the only ones really selling a wheel with the correct bolt pattern, or if that was due to preference. I personally liked one of them, and the other was given away after a replacement was found at the scrap yard. The one I disliked, had a very thick diameter with cheap rubber coating, and overall too small size. The one I liked, was just a little smaller that stock and was wood
  23. I agree:classic: little too bright in the ol cockpit, perhaps some really good shades may make you forget that when the pedal hits the metal
  24. Hey if you happen to see a cheap yet reasonable shape z in Il, let me know please
  25. I hear that!:classic: That would be a canidate for what do they call them? "Sunday Drivers" at best. Still the rush one would have, onwing such a low milage car gives me a grin ear to ear. Back in October last year, there was a White 77 with less than 10k, on ebay, wow! If I only had the 17K in money it went for. The car was kept in a condo overlooking the city somewere through a huge plate glass window! It was like something out of a movie
