I have started to work on my neglected 280Z. Haven't done my own auto repair work in a long time. I am very limited on space and tools at this point. It has been sitting for nearly 30 years. It was mostly running when parked but had emissions and cooling issues and wasn't in a position to deal with it. Good news is it is desert climate and the car is intact. I want to get it running and driving, then update and repair more as I go. I have a goal to get it running for the 50th birthday but I am feeling a little overwhelmed a month into this effort. Starting with the fuel system back to front. Tank has been cleaned, started replacing some fuel lines. Trying to not replace anything that I don't have to right now but I am questioning if piecemeal is the best approach for the EFI. Still considering some fuel system upgrades in the future so I don't want to duplicate my efforts. Looking to make it a nice driver eventually. I would like to keep it mostly original with some functional or horsepower updates. Looking for any advice and encouragement I can find. :)
