POR-15, Undercoating, and Rust Questions
Yeah I have been looking around on here a lot to get some ideas. I have also been looking at other places online for more help. For the tempature I figure when it is time I will break out the space heaters to get the garage up to proper heat and what not to be ready. SuDZ

POR-15, Undercoating, and Rust Questions
I just ordered the POR-15 starter kit today. I figure it will be a good way to get a feel for what and how much I will be needing of everything. Plus for 15 bucks it is not a bad way to start price wise either. Can't wait till the Z looks like it is making some _real_ process in the way of being brought back to life again. SuDZ

3 Z Garage
Hanging stuff from the ceiling really does give a lot of extra space that it does not seem like you would have otherwise. A good thing i did too was build a companrtment about two feet tall up near the ceiling that is about 5 feet wide or so. It sits in a corner but lets lots of things that don't get moved much have a home. It also puts it out of site and out of my way. SuDZ

Clutch Slave Cylinder
To answer a few of the questions... It is a '74 260Z. I did not do a bench bleed. How do you go about doing a bench bleed? Is there much more to remove from the MC to do the bleed that just undoing the rigid cable under neath and then the two bolts that hold it into the body itself? SuDZ

Clutch Slave Cylinder
Ok, I finally got the hose that I was waiting on to replace my clutch slave cylinder. I removed the old cylinder and hose and reconnected it with the new one. I had a few leaks that were taken care of when the hose was not connected tight enough. But now when I pump the clutch pedal it does not seem like anything is happening. The rod does not move that sticks out of the slave and no fluid seems to be leaving the resevoir. I am trying to figure out why this would be happening. Does anyone know of a reason? There does not seem to be leaks anywhere else now. SuDZ

Travel to Australia
Hey guys. I am looking at heading down to Australia around April or so. It will be me and my family. My sister is going to school down there for a few months, I don't know if it is a well known school or not but it is the University of Wallengong about an hour north of Sydney. My family is looking to head down there for about two weeks or so and was looking to visit the outback or perhaps the Great Barrier Reef. Basicly I am looking to see if you guys have any recomendations of either two for a visitor or also if you have any travel agents you could reccomend. I was curious if maybe there were some travel companies that are popular or have a good reputation there that we might not have looked into yet. We still have some time to go but are trying to figure everything out now. Any help would be great, if you have any other questions that might help let me know too. SuDZ

1971-240z-Hood Release Cable SNAPPED!!
On one of my old cars I had the cable snap on me...with a dead battery...in the rain...about 4 degrees above freezing. Great timing. What I did was put a piece of metal I found on the ground under the hood and pryed it up a little. gently around an inch or so. I then felt around and flipped the lock with my hand and popped it open. Looking at the guy next to me I said "Nice. I got the hood open." He looked at me and said "Yeah but your battery is still dead". Way to bring me down mister. SuDZ

Rigid Brake Lines
I was considering them as well but since they said you need the brochure of theirs to get the parts numbers etc that if I could find them somewhere else it would be good. Mainly because after I signed up to get the brochure it would still be a few weeks till the brochure got here and then another week or so of shipping. Basicly almost a month before they would even get over here to be installed. SuDZ
