Ok. Took my tester and touched green light at c6. Got power. Then thought I needed the relay out. I got it out !!! When I shake it it sounds like a pile of dust in there. Here are some photos. Good or no good??? And I now need to clean female spade connectors. Do I use contact cleaner???- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
Also. Maybe it needs a good strong battery to run the horn. I will fully charge my battery.- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
ok - i will get under there and see if i can trace the wires... ONE more thing,.. I DID remove the electronic ignition unit when i put in the new dizzy... does unplugging the Elec ignition box and taking it out of the car effect any other devices or wiring in the car? there is no ground there just a dangling plug... is that ok??? also when testing fuse box i only used tester with light... should i use a multimeter to see if i am actually getting 122 volts accross??- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
Horns are dead so I just put test light to horn wire and hit horn. But still no light. Does that mean relay is the issue ?- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
Ohhhh. And does anyone see any fuse in common with horn heater fan power antenna abd gauge lights ???- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
Ya. I see the original radio plug. They clipped the white black speaker wires and used the blue for power. Most of my stuff worked on the console but I’m still trying to solve the horn power antenna heater fan gauge lights all have no power. Should I try contact cleaner on fuse box ? And is there a way for me to make sure my horn relay is ok as it’s almost impossible to get out.- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
Can’t be map light. It works fine. Could the male bullet red go in the green? Or no way? Are those for an automatic car??- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
ok.. anyways.. i also have these extra wires coming out of console harness.. are they for an automatic?? also can to figure out the 2 greens circled at top.. wre not connected to anything.....any ideas??- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
Light is on when I touch the green wire abs when I press the horn button light goes off. Is that right ? Try watching video on phone.- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
what does that mean?? working correct or not?- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
Here is a video IMG_3047.MOV- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
Ok. I will try to get it out. But here is my main question. With power on car on - when I touch the green wire coming from horn with tester it lights up. When I press the horn button the light goes out. Is that correct ??- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working

horns are dead.. will this effect anything if i disconnected them?? will relay still click? i tried checking for power when pressing horn button.. but nothing.. no click no power to horn... i was assuming its the relay...- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
i tried trust me----- a black wire covering comes out of that relay and i cant see where it goes - it snakes behind the other relays and wire harness -- super hard to find the greens.. i dont want to just yank em,.... should i hear the relay click when i press the horn or not.. horns are dead.. and no power going up to horn power wire..- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
It’s the silver on an angle behind all the wires. definaletly not the 75 schematic- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
I have to shocks that stick out fit the bumper. It’s thin metal wrap around metal with two blocks of rubber. Nothing as big as a 280. Here is a photo of the thing I think is horn relay. It’s top right.- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
That’s what I thought was the horn relay but it is probably the washer relay I’m trying to locate the horn relay maybe someone will recognize it in there somewhere I will go take a photo of the area and try and show you what I see but there is no relay with three green wires the only wires coming out of the back of the relay that is way up there is a black wire housing which I can’t even see where the wires go because they are stuffed so high up there- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
i am now stumped by the horn relay... i pulled the one off they show in fsm... mine relay in that location does not have 3 male connectors on it... after ui got it off the wall it just has a black wire covering coming out of it going behind more wires and i cant even see where it goes.. has anyone changed or pulled a horn relay on a 260??? the one i pulled out was above the 89914 - you cant see it in photo//- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
Quick question about antenna. If final skinny part of mast solid or hollow ???- 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
Ok. Got fuel and amp gauge working abs side markers. Unplugged C3C4C5 I wiggled C3 as it’s way up there and a few things started working. Now just horn left. I assume I need lots of gas in tank to register like quarter tank. I just had a Jerry can do it shows empty. Now just horn. If horn relay is working will I hear it click or not,? - 260z horn, signals, wipers not working
