Is that switch grounded to the frame? Can I just put all wires that go to it to one contact? As opposed to 3 contact points on the switch ? Very hard to find same switch.

Ya. Got it. Just says 3 black wires. Wondering what they connect to ?? Done light buzzer. Etc??

So I can get a switch with 2 wires and put 2 to 1 and a ground ?

mine was rusted and got pushed in..need a new one .. does anyone know how i can access the wires from under drivers kick panel?? is it hard? can they be fished out?? are they in the area right by relay for flasher? any ideas??? got it out by foot area...why is drivers 3 wires passenger 2 wires??

No way rod can go in slot while connected to handle.

Old handle is out. Got it out without removing window. Can new one go in without removing window? How does rod go in hole? Or does rod get hooked to top of handle. ? What is the process. ??

The h b s is horn battery switch. All I had to do was hook it up like that and bingo. It works. New relay was the issue. Thanks again guys

i have the two wires in rear side of car where antenna goes, but i now have a new antenna... a black , red , green wire... is there a way to use my switch and make it go up and down? if i put the switch wire to red green it goes up but no way to get it down... how can i wire it to use the switch??

finally got all the power wires located... power from the switch ( switch worked with both power ) did not make it to antenna bullet connectors... i followed harness back below brake lights and a big worn away part of harness.. found the two wires there and bingo.. power.. now need to hook up antenna...

Both of those are in the 74 260 fsm. Like on the next page. Weird. Also. I have a new relay and can’t get it to click. I have a green red and what looks like 2 greens. When I hook 3 wires to the relay the green red has power and so does the green on the left. When I hit the horn button nothing happens. When I disconnect wires from the relay only the green red has power but the other two don’t. No power is at the wire on the horn button. Is it just a ground button?? how do I get it to work???

One shows green in middle and one shows it on end. Look at both diagrams in red.

is the green wire one the end or in the middle???

-74 260.. 3 wires going to the horn relay... the green/red has constant power but non of the other 2 do anything when the horn is pressed.... whats going on here? is this correct or wrong? what should be happening??? thanks

Car runs good and most stuff works ok. Water leaked through front window. Not submerged under lake.

Yea. I saw the wiper relay. It was the others I was after. Horn relay is a bitch yo get out. They stuck it way up there. It was like dust inside. As below.

My head lights and park lights are ok. The park lights are finicky with the combo switch. But my tach light works but no speedo no turn lights on dash no park light no three gauges lights on dash.

Got ya. I was told all bulbs are in sane circuit. So if tach light works all lights should work. Could the dimmer switch be sorta bad ? Allowing power to tach but not gauges??

74 260, tach light and heater panel lights work.. no speedo or all 3 gauges/clock not on... does this mean is just dead bulbs if tach light works ok? or can it be something else? also turn signal lights dont work, or e brake light... are they just all dead??

I have now removed the horn relay from way way up top. not seen in photo.. now im trying to figure out what the other ones are.. i know one is fan, one is defrost one is wiper.. whats the other and which is which.. the images in the fsm are totally wrong..can ya help me out..?? thanks

I did not check power to the motor as I did not take the control panel off. Can I check power to the motor from behind without removing panel ??

Wondering what else I check after the fuse?? Fan wires are a bit sticky.

Hi Dave. Is there any way for me to wire that same antenna with the exhisting wires. ? Without relays. Even if radio controls it. Can I take the power antenna wire from back of radio and connect it to one of the switch wires on dash ? Would that work?

ya jfa... i dont need to do it the same... i was just wondering if there was a way to run the up/down switch wire to the back of the radio wire so it goes up and down when radio goes on off ?? there must be a way.... new antenna has a green red black
