About Me

Have admired Z cars since my father took me to car shows in my distant youth. Once I moved to California I was finally able to own one. Started in 1998 with a 1976 240Z which unfortunately ended up in a 12 foot culvert one dark night. The electrics had been giving me trouble and the lights went out as I was descending the steep Montezuma grade into Borrego Springs. When I woke up the car was vertical but I was fine.

Then was lucky enough to find a near pristine 1978 280Z which I’ve been slowly restoring and improving. I have done blasphemous things to it like BMW taupe metal fleck paint and installing the 240’s wooden steering wheel and stick shift nob. I get compliments daily. But all good things must come to an end and I’m moving and must sell the car. But first, I must fix a few things and for this I need advice! Will be posting all this with photographic proof and pleas for help on your site soon as I figure out how.
