Possible fuel problem. 1976 280z 2+2
So today I drove my car to school and the radio fuse buss kept going out (10A). I had 4 extra (10A) fuses and they all burnt up. I went home to get a 20A and that smoked up[emoji23]. So I don't know what to do there. It says it needs a 10A but it keeps blowing or the little metal piece burns in half Sent from my SM-J320V using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Thanks man, I'm currently taking auto-body, auto tech, and welding in high school and I know my auto-body teacher wants me to bring in my car so I can work on it because he loves it. And I'll ask my auto teacher if I can bring it in, because we did a chapter of using the multimeter and testing ohms, resistance, volts and amperage. I'll ask him for some help too. Now the I drive it to school and back. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

That's the mess I have. The first red switch that you see in the picture turns on and it apparently controls the rpm gauge and headlight and turn signals. (I bought it this way). So I don't know where to start[emoji23] Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

You mean like take it to autozone so they can charge it?, Because I looked at my fuse busses when I got home and the radio one was fried. I don't even have a radio installed yet but I put all new fuse busses myself. I believe it's 10A according to the cap that goes on the fuse box. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

I'm glad this group educated me about the fusible links. I'm only 17 so I know I'm pretty ignorant. Thanks Guys[emoji6] Sent from my SM-J320V using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Vacuum Lines
I have no clue where these go or where they connect. I rewired the other vacuum hoses in the right spot but I'm stuck with these last two. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Finally installed new fusible wire as directed [emoji23]. But the car starts but runs really rough then turns off on its own, even if i give it some gas. Still confused as to what the problem is. When I first started the car it gave this loud after fire shot that probably scared the neighbors [emoji23]. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile Fried fuse

I bought the car with those already messed up links, and why I insist so much is because it's my daily driver and I need to get it running again. I can't wait for fusible links to be shipped when I could just do it myself.. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Zed Head, do you think the problem could be on that one wire? Acc B? Because if so I called autozone for fusible links and they told me they sell by gauge and he has no clue about amperage. But is the black wire always 80amps..? Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
