  1. I parked my z for about a month after rebuilding the engine and driving it to school for about two months. I daily a different car to go to work to save on gas, and when I went to start my car it was dead because I left the radar on. I jump started my car with the daily driven car. But as it charged up enough to start and run, I let it sit for about 15 min. I started to drive it and when the rpms were up and I would let off the gas, the car turns off. I don’t know what the problem would be. (Pictures of rebuild)

I pulled my car into the auto body shop in school because I notice one taillight was dimmer than the other. I fixed the dim issue. But I asked my friend to see if my brake lights worked and he said they didnt. Also I was really low on brake fluid because my dad was removing the calipers to see why there was a lot of squeaking. I bought some today and poured it in. Do you guys think it's the brake switch? Sent from my SM-J320V using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  6. My last update hopefully[emoji23]: I got the right gasket from napa auto parts and installed it when the tank was down and my dad and I installed it back. After the installation it leaked a little at first. After we let it sit overnight, the next morning I went out to see if it was still leaking and nothing was leaking anymore. I drove it around some more and still didn't leak. So now the z drives as it should thanks to you guys. Thanks for this long journey and staying here till the end helping me out and getting the z out again. [emoji173]️ Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  7. My dad said it's harder to do it from the bottom. And that it would be easier to take the tank down. smh Sent from my SM-J320V using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  8. I have this on the front.also I got this gasket. And do I need to drain the entire tank? Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

  10. Going 30 minutes out to buy a gasket and ring for it. Since there isn't one here. Do I have to drop the tank to replace? Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

  12. Put everything in and the car is running great. But after 30 min of driving. I have a leak coming from the fuel sending unit. EDIT: I poured 3 gallons of gas that I had in a jerry can, then drove it around the subdivision like a maniac and parked it and checked under the tank and under the hood and no leaks. So after that I put fuel at the gas station just 2 blocks away and drove it for 30min. And I got back home that's when it started to leak. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  13. Well it isn't, so I'll probably put acetone in through that line and blow it out again. Sent from my SM-J320V using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  14. It's going to be sitting for at least 24hrs since I'm not home. Should the return line also be as easy to blow through. Sent from my SM-J320V using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  15. I poured the acetone in and used the air compressor. And it worked phenomenally well. Should I wait a day to install the tank again or put it in now?. It's currently 11:37 and we hit totality and all with the eclipse thing. And work starts at 1:30 and I get off at midnight. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  16. So all I would need to do it poke a hole through the sock with this wire. Or how exactly is it suppose to get unclogged?. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  17. Dave, are you implying that i should put the fuel tank back? Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  18. I gave it a little rev and it did go up in fuel pressure. Obviously it wasn't a big rev because I have a jerry can. But it went up to 38and back to 32. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  19. I was told if I were to poke a hole through the sock that there would be debris coming out. But I'll take it off. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  20. Yea, it reads 32 and doesn't go below that. Is that because the jerry can isn't fully sealed?. Also what wire should I buy tomorrow? I was told 1/8 of an inch round balene wire. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  21. Fuel needle stays still. And doesn't move around or drop in pressure. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  22. They're 3ft hoses. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  23. Also tried this but I thing that wire maybe to thick, blew air through it and it got a little bit better to blow through. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
