    Not funny anymore...you've been exposed.

After reading more of your other posts, I have surmised that I must be the one that's not getting it. You're playing with us all.....right? No one is really as STUPID as you portray yourself. Note to self: Never again respond to posts by 'the cafe'.

You just don't get it....do you?
  5. There is another fix though it sounds somewhat temporart to me. I can't find the thread right now but IIRC, it involves moving the pickup hose to a fitting screwed into the drain plug hole and capping the original tube.
  6. As of 2:51pm PDT, according to your profile: Maybe he's not pretending. If surfsnake2 gets removed, this guy shouldn't be far behind. Don't get me wrong--I'm not suggesting that anyone gets banned (who the hell am I?) but if it does happen, I wouldn't lose any sleep.........
  7. And you're going to want to fix that........but that won't fix the fuel delivery problem.
  8. Sounds like you have a hole in the fuel pickup or a broken fuel pickup.

Don't forget that the distributor has to 'complete' the tach circuit or the car won't run.

That's a tough one. Not being familiar with the Allison setup, I'm not sure how it's wired or what's been done to the stock setup to adapt it. Those are definately not stock internals for a 260Z distributor. Maybe installing an E12-80 (ZX) distributor would be easier, and less costly than correcting that one.

I use Lucas synthetic 75W-90 in both trans and diff and have for years so you'll get some debate there also. Plus the Lucas costs less than the Redline and is more readily available.

I don't need anything done. He had talked about closing the shop a couple of years ago and I was just curious to see if he did.

Or anything else this guy posts? It's all so ludicrous that sometimes you just have to say something.

It has to be aftermarket. The stock transistor ignition unit is located under the dash.

    Send me a PM.

Doubtful. The exhaust, while it could cause performance problems, wouldn't have any effect on the fuel pressure. I'm afraid the tank will likely have to be done again.

You can download the entire 78 FSM here as well as others. http://www.xenons30.com/reference.html
  18. Oh, that Ballina:) I guess it would be rare in Ireland also.

I think Elvan closed the shop. I'm going to try to verify that tomorrow (Tuesday).
  20. Like I said in your other post, I have one in great shape. No clock, however. PM me-last call........
  21. Judging from the pictures, I'd say, part it out. It's not a low VIN so it's not anything special and even if you do the work yourself, I doubt if it would ever be worth what you put into it if that's your goal.
  22. I've sat in a couple of those. Nice cars but too small for me.
  23. 79 gauges won't work in a 77.

You stated that you 'Had a fuel problem years ago, removed the tank had it boiled and relined but still never ran.' Two things: if it was done years ago and it sat for that time with gas in it, whatever you cleaned out would just build up again. You use the terms 'boiled out' and 'relined'. Did you do it yourself or have it done?
