Could it be a bad ground or should i also check the brake proportioning valve?

If i turn the dashlights off you can still notice the ebrake light dim on the speedometer.

My ebrake light shows a little dim on the speedometer when the ebrake is off. Where should i check? It must be a bad ground somewhere.

Do you think i should open the distributor? Any symptom of frozen wieght? I really dont think so!

Sorry Denis. I will leave the timing as it is at 14 btdc. I raced the car last night and it accelerates fine. I hope you guys can help me solve this low rpm spark plug fouling. I should have never bought a car that had an engine remanufactured and modified by californa datsun. I should have bought a stock engine.

Im taking it for a test drive today and will leave it idling for 20 mins to simulate a traffic jam. Should i leav the timing at 14 btdc? Ill swap the cables and test the car.

I burshed the 6 plugs and took the car for a hard run on the highway. Parked the car and took 3 and 4 out.

Did a 7 min run some 10 to 20 seconds stops. These were the results. Still have not left it idling. 1 2 3 4 5 6 spark plug order

Reading was the same. It did not change. Should i take my car for a spin hard and retard the timing from 14 to 12 btdc to see if leaving it at idle does the same?

Cyl 6, spark plug 6 = 7.18k Cyl 5, spark plug 5 = 6.88k Cyl 4, spark plug 4 = 7.15k Cyl 3, spark plug 3 = 5.82k Cyl 2, spark plug 2 = 5.73 k Cyl 1, spark plug 1 = 5.72 k Test measure the same from end to end of each spark wire. What else???

Well just tonlet you know my pertronix ignition module 1761 bought in amazon is new. Do you think i should buy another pertronix coil?

The resistance test i did yesterday was with the distributor cap disconected one multimeter probe at the cap terminal and the other one at the center electrode of the spark plug lugged at the spark wire boot. What else is needed?

Pertronix ignitor module 1761 and petronix flamethrower 1.5 ohms coil installed with original hitachi distributor and ngk blue spark plug wires.

Should i drive the car for 30 mins and then let it idle for 15 to see the results?

there is no air leak at the intake manifold. i have sprayed carb cleaner many times and have not noticed any idle drop. All my mechanics have concur there is no air leak. Come on guys. Both of my carbs were recently remanufactured in Dec 2014 by Ztherapy. So that must also be taken out of the equation. Why plugs 3 and 4??
