How to wire 2 electronic flashers for blinkers and hazard lights
I still dont know what was the former owner thinking on throwing a 16 GA cable from the negative pole through the firewall and patching the cable with electric tape when it was closer and easier to ground it to a bolt in the steering column!

How to wire 2 electronic flashers for blinkers and hazard lights
What about grounding the black wire to a bolt in the steering Wheel?? I found out the former owner threw a wire from the negative pole of the battery through the firewall and tied it up with electrical tape to the black wire of the electronic flasher relay. I dont think there was a need to do that when you could ground at the bolt of the steering Wheel. Anyone has a different view?

How to wire 2 electronic flashers for blinkers and hazard lights
Just bought 2 EF32RL electronic flashers at amazon. Which is the neatest and safest way of installing the one for the turn signal lights and the one for the hazard switch? Both of the flashers have 2 prongs and one black wire. Please advise. Any pictures?

Throttle opener control valve and servo diaphragm for a 240z?
Someone has recommended getting a 280z solenoid valve due to the fact it avoids stalling and mantains de RPM when the compressor is engaged? Is this the same as a Fast Idle Actuator? Still confused where to get this part and how is it installed?
-
What are these parts?
Which is the part i need to get to raise the idle when installing Vintage Gen II mini evaporator and sanden 508 compressor? I read its the servo diaphgram! Is it the same as a Fast Idle Actuator on 280zs? My car is a 1972 240z. The Throttle opener control valve is still on top of the balance tube even though it does not work! Should i also remove it? This is the last part i need to source in order to install my AC System! Just need to go in the right direction!

Servo diaphgram and control valve for AC on a 240z
Okay the compressor issue is solved! Its the correct one!! Now back to the servo diaphgram! Should i try and get the stock one or is there any better option as an upgrade!!

Servo diaphgram and control valve for AC on a 240z
Well i see people here have different opinions on the correct part to get my AC running perfectly on my 1972 240z? I thought that with installing a working servo diaphgram on top of the balance tube would work fine. But if it will give me hassles then i follow the right advice. Cant stand the heat inside the car and really need to have the AC installed. In addition to that nobody can tell me if this bracket will work as a perfect bolt in with a Sander 508 compressor: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sanyko-AC-Compressor-Install-Bracket-For-For-71-74-Nissan-Datsun-240z-9-6011-/400934074298?fits=Make%3ANissan%7CModel%3A240Z&hash=item5d598877ba&vxp=mtr I wrote an email to the seller and he does not know if it will work with a Sanden 508 compressor.

Servo diaphgram and control valve for AC on a 240z
What kind of servo diaphgram and control valve will i need to get to raise the idle when i turn the AC on the car? Still looking for a bracket that can hold a Sanden 508 Compressor. I have everything else, but need to get these parts before taking the car to the shop!!

Air Filter housing gaskets?
Just contacted Courtessy Nissan and they say the are out of stock! Anyone has any clues of where to find these 3 seals or should i just purchase the above mentioned kn filter and forget about the seals? Will this provide the same effect?

Shaking, back and forth motion at 1st and 2nd gear
OK, thanks Beermanpete!!! Im sure enjoying! Now i can move forward and install the Gen II Mini Vintage Air evaporator and Sanden 508 compressor. I am still looking for the compressor bracket that bolts in the 4 holes but nobody seems to know which one will fit perfectly to that compressor!

Throttle opener control valve and servo diaphragm for a 240z?
I have removed all the emission parts that go on top of the balance tube including the vacuum control valve which has something to do with when cruising down from altitudes and the servo diaphgram. Hence, i need to know which part will i need to have my Air Conditioner kit running and how should it be connected to the carbs linkage?
-
Throttle opener control valve and servo diaphragm for a 240z?
So now that i am ready to install my AC in my car, i would like to know which is the most efficient fast idle actuator / servo diaphgram i can install and connect to the balance tube? I wouldnt like to take the car to the AC shop and find out im still missing other parts that control the fast idle when the AC is on!!
-
Shaking, back and forth motion at 1st and 2nd gear
Its indeed fixed! Im just curious and want to know how many turns he gave to both idle mixture knobs to set it perfectly!
-
Shaking, back and forth motion at 1st and 2nd gear
Thanks for the follow up Friends. I decided to purchased all the vacuum related braided hoses and took the car to a Porsche Carburetor type car mechanic here in Panama. He took 2 weeks to tune the car and replaced all the braided hoses. The hesitation and stumbling is gone. Did notice that while the car is parked for more than 5 minutes the idle lowers from 950 to 800 and rises back. I guess this is normal in this type of cars. It does not shut down. Anyway i asked him if it was an electrical problem or if the dizzy needed replacement and he said no. He tuned both carbs by ear and now i dont know how many turns he gave to the idle mixture knobs? to determine how many turns he gave should i take the carb domes and pistons out and start turning counternclockwise until it closes fully, write it down and then clockwise where he left them?

Options for Highest Quality and Fit weatherstrip
I have read excellent reviews on Vintage Rubber but due to my urgent need of getting the car ready for paint, i am looking for another high quality and fit supplier. Should i settle for black dragon? I read that Z man of Washington is also good! But cant manage to get him answer my emails.

Vintage Rubber, still in business??? Epic Service FAIL
Called them again this morning and nobody answers!! Is this the only option for highest quality long lasting and perfect fit weatherstrip??
-
Shaking, back and forth motion at 1st and 2nd gear
The car Works perfectly over 3000 RPM and there is no hesitation at high idle so i do not think it is a vacuum advance or distributor inner problem issue.
