Sorry it took so long to reply, but Yes it was the brake booster. Only problem was the new brake booster was a tad bit bigger so I had to redrill holes in the fire wall. Thanks for the help guys, I'll definitely post more problems on here. Everyone seems very knowledgeable!

Hey guys, I'm brand new here and have only had my z about two weeks! A few days ago I was stopping at a stop sign and the brakes felt weird. I barely stopped, but heard air coming out when I hit the brakes. I parked my car and realized the RPMs were going up as I pressed the brakes. I couldn't drive home because the car would barely stop. Any help would be very much appreciated! I'm new to cars, but I have some knowledge. Vacuum leak? HELP
