  1. My front door will be the color of those suds, in an empty mug.
  2. I'm repainting my house and getting some color help from this girl next door. I showed her Safari Gold and asked about painting the front door that color. She says "oh my, that would look so good". Thank you Guy for this thread Wall Art! I'll post a picture when I get it done.
  3. Mine is the cheaper, less CCA "value". Not the "maxx". I guess that's why it's smaller?

I have to jump back in the fire tomorrow at 6 am and I'm worried too. It's causing me to drink! Who'd thought? The owner said the dumbest thing I've heard from him in the 26 years we've been friends. "I'm not wearing no damn mask! Why should I if everybody else is" He wasn't kidding either.
  5. I've started buying Ever Start batteries from Walmart. $50 plus tax I think, less than $60 I know. Batteries have gone through the roof price wise at least my local Interstate store. This is sitting in the original bottom plastic pan? and measures less than 8". FYI only, it's no show car.
  6. My Dad sang this all the time when I was a kid and helping him do stuff. I heard Vince on Mike & Molly sing it the other night and now I can't quit it myself.
  7. Mine is an Alpha A5K. https://www.radioshack.com/products/radioshack-5k-ohm-audio-taper-potentiometer?variant=20332246341
  8. But I put mine inside the cabin temporarily so i could turn it while driving. I could make it run cooler on the interstate and flood it completely out like Zed says. I used speaker wire through the firewall and put the knob in passenger's seat.
  9. I played with mine for a week before I found it's sweet spot. Then zip-tied it all up.
  10. Mine pops a little on deceleration too. What's your timing set at? I think mine is all the way maxed out at 17 degrees at idle and then 34 at 2,500 rpm. That's with the zx distributor.
  11. Poplar, Beech... What a sap.
  12. Put some flowers in it, tell them it's for your wife.
  13. You can get these Nissan manifold gaskets still. Dealership gets them overnight down here. They have distribution hubs in MS and TX. Here's the part #. Thanks @gwri8
  14. Thats a diamond for a p79, 99.99%. Lowest opening...
  15. Maybe n42 block and n47 head? They look round compared to my n42 square port header. You can see the squareness on mine. Sorry i don't have my laptop handy. Look at the pics on msa's website maybe???? Good luck with it.
  16. They don't look my msa ceramic headers. They won't turn that blue color like your pic. They look like ss to me and if the flange up top is the same thickness as msa's which matches the intake thickness just right I think they look good for $100.
  17. Did you get 12v on the white/red solder blob? If you have a wire peirceing volt meter you can just check that wire under the steering wheel. Good luck.
  18. Sounds like the exact thing my combo switch did. I went by this, flip those 2 plates now it works like new. Eh, it's a pdf. Here's the link, it's safe to download. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.kamikazeracing.org/dl/ZTech/Rebuild_240Z_combo_switch.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwj3vYv0oLTpAhVkhuAKHZ86C70QFjAEegQIARAB&usg=AOvVaw1MgWNgBd3yM5WQ0jnGnjgR
  19. I need dramamine to watch the dvd but it is excellent on the info. My favorite is the "quick and dirty" Phillip put together.
  20. Datsun garage? They look a lot better than my amcos. Six feet of cracked, stiff roof shigles.
  21. here's a little of what I've read over the years. I agree with Namerow, it's all up to you and your end goal for the car. http://woodworkerb.com/home/datsun-240z-rebuild/seat-rebuild/
  22. Yep, cost me $5 for a Radio Shack volume knob. My '77 would spit and sputter until 2,500 rpm then go vroom vroom. After the Pot tweak it leaves out strong and continues to vroom vroom.
  23. Agree with Zed Head on the rear exhaust leak. Not really a knocking noise as much as a ticking in my experience.
