actually there is so much that could be wrong in the FI system. Vacuum problems were always plauging me...everything else was good...so i guess i was lucky.

its a vacuum hose that connects to your distributor...geez i wish i could remember...but check out to make sure all your vacuum lines are okay.

Well Cabiness is back and the SCCA and PCA will start holding events there. While i haven't run on this course i hear its a BLAST. September 9th is the first PCA event out there. The September autocross with the SCCA may still be held in aviator field, i'm not sure. And seat time is the most important benefit.

Well no i still haven't found another early Z quite yet. But it has been so long since i've posted here. I've missed this community and well just decided to drop in. Well i got around finally to solo 2 events..and i've been having a blast. I just wish that i still had my old 240z, i wonder how it would have done in the smaller tight courses i've been running. I drive a 350z right now, i'm loving it, and YES the car handles well. If any of you are from the south texas area and want to run your Z, i would sure like to see it. The corpus christi area got cabiness field back now for those who know, and now i will be running PCA events as well...i hope to see some 240zs out there. I miss them, i haven't seen one in so long, and its killing me.

trying to get an old Z to 200mph....cheap?....you are misimformed....But go read up on hybrid Z...and see just how fast you wanna go...another thing...200mph....Where? Thats fast and i don't know how the Z will handle that speed....there are few places you can try this....but God forbid you choose a public road.....as road surfaces might send you flying and killing someone....i don't know but i've been to high speeds in my Z and a normally smooth road will feel pretty bumpy...not only that my car is a 2003...and a 70's car....YIKES..hope you don't have stock brakes and your tires don't blow.... Anyway your young....don't throw your dream away...go searching about on this...........L28eT. But 200mph...nah....who cares..go to a racetrack...and take twisties...that is where your car will serve you best. Most reasonably priced car? well this car is safer anyway since it is desighned for it.....Corvette C6 Z06....But your gonna still have to take Enigma's advice on that one. OR...buy someones like 8-9 sec 1/4mile car....

Wrecked, sold, and the buyer left it for the county to pick up.....dang the hatch was still good..... I'm gonna be in the market for another one relitivly soon, its been way way too long.

Make sure your fuel pump is working....i had this problem replaced the pump (not a hard job) and presto!! The pump is located in front of the gas tank behind the passenger rear wheel. Its quite easy to get to with the rear on ramps.

I just used a few pics for my personal site that NO ONE knows about but a few close friends and a listing on this site. I made no gain from them. I even had my Z on the main page and other pics were kept in a seperate section. I use pics for my screensaver "My pictures slidesshow" option. Is this wrong?? I had alan's fairlady as my desktop. I was asked about it once(by a relitive) and told them that it belonged to a Z car guru in england. His car brought amazement to yet another person. I liked showing people all the different styles of Zness with my screensaver. I was told to remove pics from my site. I am sorry i offended the owner, i was not aware that this was an offensive gesture. Now if i was selling calanders or something i could see that would make trouble. I removed the pics and the site immideately, since i am the only one who really uses the site. I only had that site so i could put up a place for all my Z car links i used, and thats all i used it for. If what i did was wrong I'm sorry. I'm going out of Z cars for a while.

I think on the hybrid z thread he wants like 6 or 7 grand. I started laughing when you called it a ransome cause he says if he doesn't get what he wants for it he will convert it. Kinda sounds like a ransome, but he does have a valid point. He is being reasonable just putting it up for sale giving someone a chance to take it.
