New Member Introduction
G'Day Dan, Welcome to the club mate. First off, as Ken said, you'll definitely need a service manual. Second, fill out your profile with more info. There might be a couple of members living within hailing distance who could be of help to you regarding where to get parts, mechanics etc. Another useful item is the parts CD available from this site. It can be invaluable. Take the time to browse the site, .... there's a wealth of info on Zeds to be found, you only need to search. Rick. :devious: :devious:

Interesting info
I've just posted on the Aussie forum info that may also be of interest to others. The Queensland State Library has opened it's archives on rare car manuals. I haven't checked it out yet, I thought it best to report to members first, but anyone interested can log onto; www.slq.qld.gov.au/garage They allow on line searches of restoration and maintenance manuals for pre 1970 models, official repair manuals, service station manuals and a collection of more than 500 historical images. Rick. :devious: :devious:

Very interesting item
These two items should be of interest to everyone. The latest issue of the RACQ's The Road Ahead reports that; "Car enthusiasts have been handed the keys to the State Library's archives on rare car manuals". I won't reproduce the entire article but it certainly looks interesting. Check it out yourselves on www.slq.qld.gov.au/garage Now, ... while I haven't had a gander at it , another site that might prove interesting is; checkitout.com.au Rick. :devious: :devious:

Heater/AC motor upgrade for 240z
Hey there Garth, A list of search results is a great idea. Since you suggested it, why not check with Mike to see how/where/when/if it can be done, then do it for him. It would certainly be a big help to everone, especially newbies. Can't expect Mike to do everything now,can we?. Rick. :devious: :devious:

Hey Ian, That's $34,950 AUSTRALIAN mate. Current exchange rates are around 0.75 Aus to $1.00 American. You're younger than me, ... you work it out. Hayden, All the others are priced more realisticaly. I think we've got a few more years to wait before a profit can be made doing up Zeds and selling them mate. Rick.

Jokes
Big Hawk the Indian was with the park ranger one day when they got lost. The Park Ranger said to Big Hawk, "Use your tracking ability to get us out of this mess". Big Hawk bent down and put his ear to the ground and said, "Buffalo come". The Park Ranger replied, "How do you know that??". Big hawk answered, "Ear sticky". An Irishman walked up to the airport ticketing desk and said, "I'd like a return ticket please". Where to?" asked the ticket officer. "To here", said the Irishman. Rick. :devious: :devious:

Clean jokes for the young blokes.
One hundred Cardinals were lined up at the pearly gates for admission to heaven. "Now, before I let you in", said St. Peter, "tell me how many of you have committed the sins of the flesh ?". There was silence, and then, one by one, 99 Cardinals raised their hands. Only one didn't. "Right", said St. Peter, "off to hell the 99 of you. ......And take that deaf bastard with you. This one's especially for Bill. Always be frank with your boss. That way, when you screw up, Frank will get the blame. After holidays, the first day back at school the children had to report on what they did during their holidays. "We went to the Blue Mountains to do some bushwalking", said Emily. "We went camping in Kakadu", said Bobby. "We had a really great time", said Jason, "we put fire crackers up cane toads arses ........". Shocked, the teacher said, "Jason!!!!! ... the correct term is rectum". "That's right miss", said Jason, "wrecked 'em all right, blew their brains out". Rick. :devious: :devious:
