Will woke up with a huge hangover the night after a business function to find he was in bed, still fully dressed. Cloudy headed and in pain, he forced himself to open his eyes and the first thing he saw was a couple of aspirin next to a glass of water on the side table. There was also a vase with a single red rose!. He sat up in bed and saw his clothing laid out, freshly cleaned and pressed. Will noticed that the room was in perfect order, spotlessly clean. He took the aspirin, went into the bathroom and found a note stuck on the mirror. "Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping---I'll take your lovely Zed as it's blocking the driveway, ...... I love you!!!". By this time Will was thoroughly confused. This was NOT the expected reaction. He was beginning to feel VERY, VERY WORRIED. He stumbled into the kitchen and sure enough, there's a hot breakfast and the morning paper. His son is also at the table eating breakfast. Sheepishly, Will asked, "Son, ...... what happened last night?". "Well", his son replied, "you came home after 3a.m., drunk out of your mind, fell on the coffee table and broke it, puked in the hallway and almost broke your nose when you ran into the bedroom door, blood everywhere that Mom cleaned up". Feeling worse by the minute and suspecting an ulterior motive to his wife's behaviour, Will said, "Okay, ....so, .... why is everything in such perfect order, so clean, .... aspirin, a rose and breakfast on the table waiting for me?". Will's son replied, "Oh, THAT!!! ..... after she cleaned you up, Mom dragged you into the bedroom and when she tried to take your pants off, you screamed ..................................... 'LEAVE ME ALONE WOMAN, .... I'M MARRIED!!!!!!!". Rick. :devious: :devious:

Yair, ... that's right, ... I'M BACK !!!!!!! LOOOOOONG STORY. Way back when I was a young soldier and thought I had to prove something to the world by consuming as much alcohol as this poor, mistreated body could hold, the mates and I would go out on Monday nights to celebrate the coming of Tuesday, then Tuesday night to celebrate Wednesday and so on through the week. One night we left a bloke passed out under the Company's flagpole where he was rudely awakened next morning by a couple of Platoon Commanders. What drew the most laughs though, was when I woke up, hogtied into my bed, in the middle of the parade ground with the morning parade in progress. At least I wasn't late for parade !!!. Right, The BS continues. What really makes me want to stomp on a few toes is when you read an article with this false information, get in touch with the author to let him know he's wrong, only to find that you've wasted your time. The problem seems to be that, rather than carry out proper, in depth investigative journalism because it's too time consuming and they generally have a publishing deadline to meet, they take the easy way out and simply write the same old BS. Again and again and a gain and .... ad infinitum. Rick. :devious: :devious:

Cripes Craig, Now I DO feel old mate. I still say Strewth and Fair Dinkum.:nervous: Will, As was mentioned before, a cleanskin is an unlabelled bottle (or an unbranded beast). In Aussie slang, a Butchers or Butchers Hook = have a look, and a Countery is a meal bought at the pub, (hotel/bar), and eaten at the counter (bar). Max, Depending on what state you come from, it can be a crayfish or a yabbie. While those of us fortunate enough to live in Queensland call them Yabbies, Some others call them Crays or crayfish. 9. I'm glad to hear that Peter Brock is on the road to recovery. It's times like this that words of encouragement and knowing that even complete strangers are wishing him well will go a long way towards bollstering his spirits. Rick.

Tomorrow is a big day in the land of OZ. The 26th of January is Australia Day, a public holiday. Practically every City and town in the country will be celebrating with activities, entertainment during the day and fireworks at night. The All Classic Motor Club, of which I am a member, has been invited to display our cars at the Rockhampton Heritage Village tomorrow. Should be a good days outing, even though I have to travel about 80 klms round trip. I know there'll be a 240Z there plus my 260 and we're hoping for a 280 to complete the series. I have a 2ft. x 3ft. Aussie Flag attached to the radio antennae. Hope it doesn't snap off. I'll take a few pics and post them when I get the film developed. Rick. :devious: :devious:

When the Arkansas Kid was 5 years old, he was dropped of at his Grandma's house one day. She had agreed to babysit for the day. Little Billy was in Grandma's bedroom while she was dusting off the mantlepiece when he said, "Grandma, how come you don't have a boyfriend now that Grandpa went to heaven?". Grandma replied, "Billy, my computer is my boyfriend. I can sit in my bedroom and play on it all day long. The religious sites make me feel good and the joke sites make me laugh. I'm happy with my computer as my boyfriend". Grandma turned on the computer and it was so slow she couldn't get anything to work. She tried banging the desk to get the computer to work faster. Frustrated, she started banging the computer hoping to fix the problem. Little Billy heard the doorbell ring, so he hurried to open the door and, ... there stood Grandma's minister. The minister said, "Hello Billy, is your Grandma home?". Little Billy replied, "Yeah, she's in the bedroom bangin' her boyfriend". Rick. :devious: :devious:

Brian, Regarding white interiors, one of our members has done a beeeeeautiful job on the interior of his Zed. Problem is, .... I can't for the life of me recall his user name so you could check out his gallery. Someone help me out here. His avatar was a pic taken of the interior of his car, showing all the white upholstery. A professor of mathematics sent this fax to his wife; Dear wife, You must realise that you are 54 years old and I have certain needs which you are no longer able to satisfy. I am otherwise happy with you as a wife and I sincerely hope you will not be hurt or offended to learn that by the time you receive this letter that I will be at the Grand Hotel with my 18 year old teaching assistant. I will be home before midnight. When he arrived at the hotel, there was a fax waiting for him that read as follows; Dear husband, You too are 54 years old and by the time you read this, I will be at the Breakwater Hotel with the 18 year old pool boy. Being the brilliant mathematician you are, you can easily appreciate the fact that 18 goes into 54 many more times than 54 goes into 18. Therefore, my love, do not wait up. Rick. :devious: :devious: P.S. Bill, If you should need this one explained, let me know and I'll get back to you via P.M. Rick.

Every day, a man would walk up to the same woman, stand very close to her and tell her that her hair smells nice. After a week of this, she can't stand it any longer and decides to have a word with Will, the office manager. Without identifying the bloke, she told Will what the co-worker does, and that she wants to file a sexual harrassment suit. Will is puzzled by the woman's demand and asks, "What's sexually threatening about a co-worker telling you your hair smells nice?". The woman replied, "It's Bill, the dwarf". Will and his latest girlfriend had returned from a dirty weekend. During the course of the weekend's "festivities", they decided to buy themselves a pet each to remind them of the wonderful time they'd had. Will bought a snake while she got a skunk. As they were about to pass through airport control, they noticed a sign which said; "NO ANIMALS WILL BE ALLOWED THROUGH QUARANTINE". Slightly distressed, she turned to Will and asked him what they should do. After thinking hard for a few minutes, Will came up with a plan. "What I'll do is tie the snake around my waist and try to pass it off as a snake skin belt". "Yes", she replied, "but what about my skunk?". "I don't know", Will said, "you'll just have to hide it up your skirt". "But what about the smell?", she asked. Will replied, "Look, if it dies, ... it dies". Rick. :devious: :devious:

Yes, this IS all true. While it's not REALLY funny enough to make you roll on the floor laughing, it just MIGHT cause you to crack a smile. This concerns my lovely, beautiful, compassionate, thoughtful, darling wife of 40 years. During her lifetime she's done things that a lot of men only dream of doing while some men would think twice about doing. I've seen her on horseback, full gallup through mountain scrub, dodging branches, leaping logs, standing in the stirrups, leaning forward over the horses neck, reigning with one hand, waving hat in the other, screaming at the top of her lungs, running brumbies (wild horses). Real "Man From Snowy River" riding. There's a photo in our album of her in wet suit and scuba gear with her arms around a bloody great grouper that was big enough to take your arm off. Darn thing was about five feet long. I've got photos of her, completely covered in sticky mud from head to foot, dressed in overalls complete with helmet, taken after a day spent exploring a cave system with a couple of National Park Rangers that are not open to the general public. I think that's enough to convince you that she's the sort of woman who could face the devil himself and spit in his eye. Well now, ...... just before I began writing this post, she called out to me to "COME, .......QUICKLY!!!!!!". I raced outside and found her backed into the corner of her sewing room, behind the ironing board with the iron in her hand. "What's up?" I said and followed her pointed finger. It was the only thing I've ever known her to be scared of. A BLOODY COCKROACH. ROFL Rick. :devious: :devious:

Tonight, I logged on with my user name and password as per usual, posted comments to a couple of threads and then when I clicked on the submit button to post to a thread, I received a message that I was not logged on and had to log on again. I've had that happen a few times in recent weeks. Is it just me or is anyone else having this problem ???????? Rick.

Hmmm, I think I visited HybridZ's site once or twice. My interests are in keeping my car as original as possible. That's why I visit THIS SITE. However, if I decided to drop a V8 into a Zed and add body kits and mouldings to make it look like a miniature Ford Thunderbird, then, quite obviously, HZ would be the site to visit. While both sites are devoted to Zeds, they're like chalk and cheese. Anyone flaming either site because of their differences would have to be a six pack short of a carton. To each his own, .... live and let live etc etc. Rick. :devious: :devious:

G'Day Bill, I've completed a couple of the Tamiya 240Z kits. The bloke who owns the model shop I deal with told me that kits for the 260 were never made. I don't know how true that statement is or whether he just couldn't be bothered chasing up a 260Z kit for me. Just but another 240Z kit, build it and refer to it as a 260Z. By the way, the careful use of the exacto knife will remove the bonnet, (hood), and a piece of scrap tree pared down or, (as I did), the chromed radio arial from another kit makes a good bonnet (hood) safety prop.
