How much it's worth? Is it better to keep it stock or referbish it? It runs exellent, but the engine needs cleaned. IE. Water spots. Is there any way to find out the milage? 17055 seems low even though it has been parked a airforce base. As a new owner of a 280z. What's the best thing I could do?

I'm looking for anything on my car. Its a 1977 280z stock 100% except the optium battery, fuel filter, plug wires and oil filter. It has been repainted to its origional color, and says it has 17055 miles on it. I'm not sure if those are original but my grandfather says as far as he knows they're. What kind of information can you find out with a vin #. It does start with a HLS.

How do I find out more info on my car? I tried to search by the vin # but was unsucceful because the vin only has 10 digets.
