  1. At least they sacrificed a 2+2 I still think besides the hood scoop this is one of the better ideas I've seen for a 2+2. I'm kinda against v8's in Z's
  2. Thanks for the welcomes. Here are a few more pics I took today. I finally found my camera usb cable :stupid: I dont think I have seen a 140mph speedo in any other Zx. Anyone have any info on that?
  3. Hi Everyone. My name is Jake. I'm new to these forums but have been obsessed with the Z Cars since I was 5. My Mom owned a 1977 280z when I was 5, I'm 24 now and I have never stopped liking them. I have owned 4 Z cars I picked them all up VERY cheap. The most expensive one was my 83 280zx N/A 5 speed, I traded a car for it and I had paid $250 for the car. The car I currently own is a 1981 280zxt with 70,000 original miles on it and a manufacture date of 12/1980. I paid $110 for the car w/o the motor or transmission. I was about to drop the motor and trans. from the 83 into the turbo body, when I found an add on craigslist for a complete turbo motor for $800 obo. So now it looks like I will have a donor motor with 162,000 miles on it. The turbo is bad but I have 2 different turbos sitting in my shop, also last time I checked my brother had a t3/t4 that was freshly rebuilt. The compression on the turbo motor reads 150-153 all the way across. I just got back from checking it all out. I am so excited I have to tell the world. Here are a few pics. The Black Zx was my 83 but the frame rails were rusted out. The gold Zx is my baby KYB Gas-a-just shocks in the rear KYB struts in front, different springs unsure of brand, MSA full body kit (side skirt missing in pic.) all included with the car for $110 and finally the donor motor. I cant wait to be driving a Z car again its been too long.
