Should be safe parking there amongst some fellow LEOs. Since you have blue strips I think a blue 240Z side stripe might look better. Too many colors kind of distracts the eye. But like everyone says It's your car and that's they way I have thought of my mods so far when I did them. Tom
  2. Come down to Daytona first week of October for the Z Convention. I would bet there might be a car or two there for sale. From Ocala it's barely a couple of cds to listen to.
  3. Don't want to sound like a broken record, but I agree with all the above. I have purchased 2 other Zs and did nothing with them but quickly resell them. Wait and one will appear that meets your needs. Mechanically sound but might need some TLC to make it look nice.

Mr Beck is correct on all points. Word of mouth is the best way to find just about anything. And I feel you will definitely get treated better. That is how I found my mechanic, painter, and racing connections. You would have no problems finding someone to paint it done here because everyone from up north has moved down here..... Over abundance of people makes for terrible driving conditions though..
  5. If it could have a holiday at a competition level race shop to fix all the halfway hack jobs I did to it would be the best thing for my car. Fix all the bad weld jobs, lack of much safety equipment and probably another 250 lbs could be lost. Other than that, I am the one holding back my car due to diminished driving skills lost to lack of aggressive use.
  6. Well it looks like you really had a good time. I need to take a video editing course before the Z convention in Daytona so you can see us Yanks go at it.

My dad also bought my first Z car (with my grasscutting & b-day money) 30 years ago. It lasted until one too many frat partys at UofKentucky, Had to wait another 25 years until I bought another one, and another, and another.
