Do you have 240 bumpers on your car?
I finally found bumpers for my car. They are off a 240Z (unsure of year) and they where re-chromed in the last few years. They look amazing and i cant wait to get em on
I was watching a show on Discovery Channel at lunch called "Sucking Amps". They turned a postal van into an electric drag racer. At the start of the show the main guy was driving around an electric 280ZX. It was actually quick too!! Here is a link to the postal van http://www.electrifyingtimes.com/going_postal.html
I have the Jimmy for the winter, she will never see snow. These thing rust too fast!! On the other hand i still have to a bit of work to do on the engine to get it running better before i take it on a good run
I got to drive my 280 for the first time today. The new alternator ive been waiting for finally arrived in time for my birthday so i had to take it out for a spin. Man what an experience! Its defiantly a lot more work to drive than my '99 Jimmy. Now i just need to get better with driving stick!
I am trying to get my headlights working but im really not having much luck getting them working. I checked all the fuses, they where good. I replaced the headlights with new ones and that didn't help either. I checked for voltage at the plug for the headlights at the front of the car but i got absolutely no voltage there. What else is there to try?? Thanks
The colour is what catches most people's eye. In the sunlight you can see a hint of gold in it. it is really stunning. The interior is almost done minus a few pieces mgood - what spoiler is on the front of your car? I really like that look
I graduated from high school this year and on May 25 my dad gave me the project car we had been working on for the last few years. It is a 1976 280Z. It was originally an Arizona car and had only been in Canada for the last few years. To our supprise there was absolutley NO rust anywhere on this car! I still need bumpers and an alternator for it and i cant wait to get driving it.
Here is my most recent pic of it
In the near future i plan on doing some electrical work to it like the headlight harness and find bumpers.
