One of my freinds freinds was selling a ray jay turbo kit bolt on for a non EFI z....how does this work? and do you think its worth buying it for 300 for the whole kit

Oil spraying out of exaust
you can have a crack some where oil maybe one of your oil seals on your pistons have been blown...im getting the same in my car

i set the timing to 0 .....and yes they are point single points adjusted the mixture no i was trieng to figure that out and is running su's

yes it is a 73 and i did to the timing...before it never did that but now its doing it

so im driving my z and as i start out in first gear it struggles alot and then my rpms drop but doesnt turn off and my carburator making aair poping sound......but i also blew an oil seal on the piston can that be effecting this?

well my lifters soumnd like they need attention but it drove very nice before today...i drove that car 40 miles home when i bought it

okay so i was running my 240z and then i just felt power drop so much and then i look under the hood and theres smoke so i was like "oh f@ck this aint good" and the smoke was cooming off the the end of the exhaust manifold right where it bolts on to the exhaust itself and then when the smoke clears i see......OIL! speewing out and in my head im thinking "OIL SEALS" i think i need rebuild.....But!....this gives me an excuse to swap my l28 into it. But i atleast wanted to run that l24 for a lil more longer

should i use the same distruburator that came on he l24 or the one on the L28? and since its electrical how do hook this puppy up?

so i have a running l28 wrapped up in my 280z and im thinking of putting it into my 240z.....and i still want to be carburated so the manifolds and everything should bolt back up rite? i just wanna find out what kind of struggles will i got threw and what needs to be replaced etc.

oky so i replaced my points and condenser and rotor and distruburator cap and i started it...and when it runs it back fires like crazy and then it dies out....i know im runing rich but i cant time it so what can i do?
