To each his and or her own. When I saw my car sitting in a boneyard I had to rescue her. When I go to shows there are lots of 240's and 280's but very few 2+2. I am unique and so is my Z. Don't get me wrong , I still love the coupes, any Z for that matter but all the blood and tears I have shed over my 2+2 makes her special to me. Datsun's ads for the car called it " the ulitmate family car." It had its place and time then and now.

I absolutely love my 2+2 !! the extra body length makes the car handle better on the curves and she hugs the road. Even had a police officer pull me over just to ask what kind of car she was. Yeah I like my 73 240 but just knowing that my 78 280 is a rare breed now makes her even more special.

I am a new member to the club. I want to extend an invitation to all to the Indy Z Car Club's show the weekend of August 16-18 in Indianapolis. The show itself will be held at the Indy Motor Speedway on the 17th. We are expecting about 100-150 Zs. The main attraction will be the new 350 like it or not. Let me know if you want more info.
