    JLP sent you a PM.
  2. I have not used this place, but someone who has, said they did nice work. He said it was better if you clean everything up first before you send or it cost more (grease and sand blasting). Penninsula Metal Finishing 407-291-1023 - Smitty is the owners name, Orlando, FL. Might be able to do better if you pay cash too. Also he said he thought it was best to do a hole bunch at one time. If you use them let me know how it turns out.
  3. Odd they have nothing for the back: https://technotoytuning.com/nissan/s130/full-front-coilover-conversion-280zx Can go this route too: http://forums.hybridz.org/topic/94002-how-to-install-s13-coilovers-on-280zx-and-poly-bushings/

Thank you. I'm so afraid to get mine painted. Every Z I've had that has been nice I manage to screw it up somehow. I've told myself I'm not going to get angry it's just a car. I grew up with a father who freaked out about everything and I told myself it's just not that important to me. Mine is in primer now and I'll strip it and send it off. Just a matter of when.

Did you do the work yourself or pay? Curious what that amount of work cost wirh paint? I loved yellow as a youngster. Funny as I've gotten older not as much. Don't get me wrong it came out very nice! If I was only young again!
  9. If you mean the Air Induction pipe that is attached to the exhaust manifold the answer is yes. Loosen the nut securing the pipe to the exhaust manifold and at the same time remove the screws securing the bracket and rubber hose clamp. The Air Induction pipe can then be taken out.

Now that would have been a conversation I would have like to have heard! Not like she threw your favorite Hawaiian shirt out, but crushed your car? I think I would have cheated then! I notice you said "ex". Did that ever come up in the divorce proceedings?

Actually I know where one like that is! They even took and put a mosaic tile all over it. It's a good distance off the road and my mom found it of all things. Really in the middle of no where. She's like I think I found a Z for you.

Yeah I have a bunch of stuff still. I just didn't realize some of these had the value they do. I've got a couple CLSD that aren't going anywhere! I'll probably sell some of my 3.9 as I think I have 4!
  14. Welcome! If your in Texas look there or neighboring states and bring back to VT. You'll pay more in the NE with likely more rust then you will find there. Rent a one way trailer from Uhaul and tow back with your truck. Since cost is an option and you don't like the ZX get a 280z. Cheaper, easier to find and fuel injected. Since your dead set on Winter driving under coat it!

I just went through all my hatch locks and they are all missing too. Would a door lock work?

You know us Z guys are cheap! Well I'd be cheap even if I wasn't a Z guy. Hard to offer without a pic. I've thrown these away in the past along with an E31 head. No comment.

    $75. Pic?
  25. The EFI harness is uncut. The body harness is what I cut and I would have cut it any way to grab the plug to power the EFI harness. I understand your point, but I like to buy more on eBay then sell. I just don't have the patients I used too, nor the time.
