Stroker 3.1
I'd install a fuel pressure regulator and a air fuel ratio gauge as well. I put in a killswitch just in case things get a little upside down and fuel keeps pumping Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

How often do you drive your vintage Z?
Drive mine almost every evening in the summer. The mountain roads in Western NC are perfect. The only problem is I have no engine sine January. Hoping Dave Rebello will ship this coming week. Engine is dyno' and finished. Just waiting on a engine shipping crate to get to Dave for shipping Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Replacing exhaust system on my 72 240z from the manifold to the back
Dave Rebello is finishing up my 3.0 stroker engine and finally getting it dyno'd this week. I have elected a copper gasket from Z Car Depot. Do some research on how copper handles heat - I believe it is the best decision for my application......I will install it dry.

Replacing exhaust system on my 72 240z from the manifold to the back
Odds are you have blown out a section of your gasket. Dave Rebello and I were just discussing this. He recommends a for exhaust red/orange high temp etc in replacement of the gasket. I did ask him about a copper racing gasket and he has not tested them. They are about $50 Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Getting the urge to upgrade in size
Zedy - Dave Rebello is finishing up dyno'n my engine this week that he built for me (hopefully it will ship the end of next week after the dyno). I did step up to Mikuni 44's (Custom ported 38's venturi's from Dave) with a bigger header primary, and moving to a larger exhaust as well. Really excited wiht the complete increase airflow and horsepower. Come on now........you know you want to do it!

Long time 240 owner, forum newbie wondering about a triple carb setup.
I was talking to Dave Rebello yesterday discussing dynoing and Mikuni's. Dave agreed that the Webers were much harder to tune correctly than Mikuni's........just a tidbit. Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile
