Series 1 70-71 Seat Belt Set Very Nice Auction
This is a awesome condition used part for your Datsun Z restoration project. This is a complete set of seat belts and hardware for a series 1 (1969-12/70) 240Z. There are no rips or fraying on the seat belt webbing! There is some fade in small areas, the drivers side inboard belt has the worst fade problem. Overall the webbing is real nice for a 32 year old part. All of the crome on the buckles and adjusters is above average to excellent. Includes all of the installation bolts, plastic spacers and fiber washers. You cant get any more complete than this! All of the date tags are still attached, and read 10/70 (tag is loose on 3 sides on 1 shoulder strap). These belts came from a 11/70 build date vehicle. Overall I would rate this part a 8 out of the 10 scale! Fits 1969-1970 240 Z cars. Don't miss this chance, parts like this are getting real tough to find. Expect quality parts, honest descriptions, and great service from cybersanford! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1865442637&rd=1

Jumping Tach and Mis-Fire On 1971 240Z Stocker
Thanks for the advice guys. I am planning on upgrading to a performance coil. Hopefully that will solve the problem. I do have a spare tach, but it looks like it may be tough to replace!

Jumping Tach and Mis-Fire On 1971 240Z Stocker
Had a strange one today. While driving home from work at expressway speed, my tach started jumping between 2000 and 4000 RPM. While the tach was jumping, the engine would have a slight miss or chug. Very minor but noticable. Below 2000 RPM she runs smooth as silk. When I got home, I cheked the points, cap and all wiring to the ignition system. Every thing looked OK. After cooling down, I went for a warm up drive to lash my valves. The car ran fine. After lashing the valves I went for a test drive. The car runs great. My car has 100% stock ignition system. Any of you Z gurus have any ideas about this one? Could it be the tach? Or maybe the coil getting hot? Any advice would be appreciated!:tapemouth
